WHAT!? Some people said they are gonna use Unreal 3 for this (and I was hyped about that,) but hell, this is exactly the SAME damn thing we've seen in TS2014... I mean,, no offense, is it really that hard to adapt a new graphic engine, or even just do something about the shaders? Yeah it's nice that the company upgrade our 2014 to 2015 for free, but TBH I wanna see some graphical updates, instead the same shallow visual effects all over again.

dovetail games said originally that TS2016 would be rebuilt on the Unreal 4 engine, no mention of UE3 was ever made, and upgrading this old one is getting more difficult to do, I think they would have it out sooner but they aren't a large company, so where they work on lots of routes/trains etc, some things take longer than others, and I would rather see an UE4 sim done well over time rather than it being rushed out.

the graphics are that quality because this was filmed on a laptop, plus with recording software (recording software negatively affects CPU usage and frame rates). Moleman now has a better computer which does a better job :)

Nova Storm That's the AWS alarm, it warns you of upcoming speed restrictions and caution/danger signals, as for the CSX loco, I have no idea.

The high speed train comes for free, other DLC has to be purchased seperately off of the steam store

Or just do what Moleman did and use a different train that doesn't have the in cab signalling, then you can go as fast as you want to (until you hit the Class 395 in the way).

Very disappointing, this version. Dovetail games needs to stop releasing the same game every year. Did they improve the graphics? No. Did they fix the older broken routes that don't work in the newer versions? Nope. But by far the worst thing about this game is the way it uses DLC. Games like this just deserve to be pirated.

to each their own, I'm not one for pirating anything, yes this year was a little lacking on changes, but that is because they are rebuilding TS for the unreal 4 engine, which will be next years update, they haven't got a huge team so this year wasn't priority.
