Awesome - absolutely what this type of game should be about in every respect. Can’t wait to see more! I also love Dead Man’s Hand and always wished I had grabbed the expansions for this. Gunfighters Ball also looks great and love to see some more Wild West or piratical action!

I wanna see you play Desperado. Especially The Knuckleduster Edition. Especially since they have a model that I feel you would enjoy for the humor. Groin Shot McGhee. (Desperado is famous for its hit location chart. One of the most infamous locations is the Groin.) Knuckleduster also makes Gunfighter's Ball if you haven't checked it out. Edit: I now wanna see a Frostgrave System Game set in the Old West...

Chris Jacobi Dead Man's Hand by Great Escape Games has a similar approach. You might be able to find LotoW on Ebay as well, there were three other books as well as the main book covering the Plains wars (Frontier) large battles (Alamo) and then the final book was Showdown that expands the rules a bit and adds ideas for other setting etc. it was a great system and is worth hunting around for.

Just found this gem of a battle report. I have a question about the 'In the Way" roll need at around 29 mins due to the melee. Wouldn't you need to make the in the way roll and then if the 'melee' was in the way roll for who was hit as if firing into combat? If not it seems a very cheesy way to snipe enemies in melee by shooting through them to another model.

Terrain (buildings) are 4Ground. Most of the models on both sides are Black Scorpion but there is a smattering of other figures in there as well.

Lol Ash, dude. I love you trying to explain the weapon technology here, but brother. Gatling guns were wheeled around on artillery carriages, but could be maned and moved by two men. You didn't need a train to get it around lol. Like two of your guys could have one and move it around the board if it were available in the game. I miss WAB, thanks for giving me some nostalgia.

Gent's all the video's are Brilliant, I got this when it first came out, my question is why is no one taking a Pluck test to Dive for cover if they come under fire, no matter who the figure is, according to the rule's this is what you would do coming under fire ?

Where would you rank this game in comparison to Dead Man's Hand and Blackwater Gulch. I just order the book on Amazon. So I'm very excited to get into the game. I know they all have their differences. Like BWG is a horror western but I guess I'm just trying to figure out what most people would spend their time playing.

Haven't played either of those others as I've never really looked past LoTOW for Old West Gaming. It pretty much ticks all the boxes for me. Not that I wouldn't check out other games, just that I really enjoy this system so I've never had the urge to. :)
