Let's Play with Agonizer

Kai Aras (Numerical Audio) worked with ‪@JakobHaq‬ to create the Bass Synth of Jakob's dreams. Those dreams were fueled by a love of Dub... which is not something I share. I can dig it, but I can't produce it. I take Agonizer's sound sculpting tools in an entirely different direction in this Let's Play!

Thanks for this video Tim! Let me try to clear up how the modulation settings work. There are two ways of setting up modulations. One way is to [long-press] on a control so that the “modulation sources” box pops. You then just increase the amount one one of the sources in the list and press [done]. This [long-press] function can be turned off in the settings menu. Press the [cogwheel] button to open up menu, go to “user interface” section and untick the “Enable Long Press”. 👍🏼 . This long-press pop up menu is something borrowed from Shockwave and I wanted it in Agonizer because I like working quickly. . The other way of accessing “modulation sources” is to activate the [Route] button which will show you all of the possible modulation destinations in orange. When taping on a destination/control that same “modulation source” box will pop up. . I hope this clears it up! 👍🏼

Great demo Tim! One thing that might help for these sorts of things is either saying or pointing out what you are moving. On a few occasions you said "I'll move this " and I had to stop and try and see what was moving. And yet other times there was the little circle that moved where your finger(s) were. When that circle was on your iPad screen it was most helpful! This is a great app, thanks for the demo.

Yeah, I was a bit sloppy on this one with the pointer. I try to remember to use the mouse, but sometimes I get too excited about making the patch and just start using my fingers!

I've been looking at this app. But after this demo, I'm left thinking 'is that it'. Don't see me bothering with it, I'm fairly confident I can achieve the same sounds.
