Good Flight(s)! Very much more of a challenge when you don't have a forward firing gun and have to depend on your gunner. I always reboot when there is an error.

@Alembic298 indeed! I think I did mess something up though, as I was doing some testing to help with the new patch and moved some files around. A quick reinstall should sort it!

Ive read that turning away from an attacking enemy was a death sentence. Would be slightly larger chance of survival if one would dive in front of the enemy. But its what ive read, i am a very bad pilot myself. I play this game mainly for rpg reasons.

@dawnpatrolss2801 That's all mostly true. In this case, I 1. Didn't have a forward gun so I had no way to return fire, 2. Would have been diving into enemy territory, and 3. Was actually closer to them than I had thought!

Why does your RFC Nieuport 12 have French roundels on the wings?

Historically, in some RNAS squadrons early on, they kept French roundels on the wings and placed RFC on the fuselage. RNAS were their own boss at that stage! They kept the French roundels, as that's how the aircraft were supplied to them from the French manufacturer. You can see this on some Nieuport 12, and Morane Type L Parasol aircraft for example in WOFF in RNAS squadrons. We get this question often ;). And now you learn something every day :). Sometimes real-life is funnier than fiction.
