I know this is is an old comment, but i thought its also worth noting that in Alphys lab we learn that injecting determination into monsters causes them to melt rather than turn to dust, and as Undyne is dying she is melting with an effect similar to the Amalgamations because she has naturally generated determination.

To me, this is one of the best moment in video game. Because *you* and your ability to save/reload is an integral part of the universe. I couldn't beat her when I reached this part and it made me dropp the run. So, despite me being the villain with powers beyond, she literally saved her world by beating the crap out of me until I quit.

But in reality his attack is 14 and defense is like 9999999. Mettaton Neo is kinda the same thing except he has negative defense

And the reason Chara became evil is that the player teached them that killing was the right way to go through the game by doing genocide. That is why you don't encounter Chara on the pacifist route.

I got so excited when she started giving her speech about us destroying human & monster kind. It actually shows some character development, since usually before we approach her in pacifist or neutral she hates humans and just wants revenge on all of them. Now, she takes on the whole responsibility of protecting earth ENTIRELY. And I really like the small fact that she is referred to as "The Heroine" to show that you are not the good guy in this run, and that you're quite the opposite. When I got to that part in game I actually reset. Her speech got to me, and I couldn't stand to slay someone as courageous and heroic like that.

I just watch these videos really to see etikas reactions. Man. I really really miss him. Honestly every time I see a reaction it makes me so happy.
