I use interior wood pillars as trim on stone and or concrete, gives the base a sharp look. And it seems they don't take any damage in the storms. Oxide, Silicate and sulphur nodes seems to respawn for me, as well as small trees grow to large trees.

I’m pretty sure they do. The game’s power system is not particularly sophisticated . The light inside is mostly to brighten up the inside

Have you tried use the wooden signs at the carpentry to label storage when you deploy them hit R and turn it plack but the label icons are the best In any game
