let's rate the outfits from descendants 4 the rise of red

you didn't think this was the end of the story, did you? of course i couldn't stay away while a brand new descendants movie comes out! initially i was a bit skeptical about this new age of descendants, especially when the characters were revealed, but i am truly so hyped and excited for this movie! in this video, i rate some of the characters' outfits out of 10 on a rotten apples scale, of course. some of the characters i take a look at include red, chloe, uliana, bridget, and uma! i'd love to know your thoughts about the rise of red and these outfits, so share your comments with me if you want! :)

I love Red look over Choles. I feel like the book puts her style into context messy as she trying to find herself but unique fashion probidden in Wonderland, its unified to what her mom sort of wants following the color scheme rules to wear but also breaking her rules but semi dressing how she wants but not breaking too many rules that would get her mom super angry. So from this perspective I give it a 9 out 10 plus I love her broken heart logo emblem

What I would think is that Addison having blue tips of her white hair demonstrates both her half-alien half-human style at the same time, which kind of goes with her outfit at the same time instead if going back and forth in the multiple scenes in the film like they are doing with Uma's outfit.

Tbh I don't mind the simplicity of Chole and Red designs in fact Chole grew on me but Red was always working for me since day one. But I do think things got simplified in their designs as while we have Mattel doing the dolls some simplification had to be made considering their the main characters and budget cuts for the dolls probably effected the movies outfit designs as well.

I wasn’t too sure about this movie either, but after seeing more promo for it and reading the book adaptation to it, I definitely cannot wait for it. I’m so excited to see how Red steps into the role of main character, obviously she has huge shoes to fill but I’m optimistic that this movie will deliver.

I agree with all of these. However, red’s other outfit is BEAUTIFUL and it looks a lot better than the one she has been advertised with.For ella, i think it would’ve looked better with blue and black braids like uma and for chloe and red, i think having their natural brown/black hair with highlights for their matching colours would look a lot better but overall i do like their wigs.

Also, not sure if we are going to get this in the movie, but in the book Beyond the Isle of the Lost when Red threw a party in her mom's castle in Wonderland it was revealed that she did wear a light pink dress. So hopefully we see Red in other colors other than Red

Brandy and Palo are back but it isn't their film versions but an Descendants universe version so really its just their back in the roles but just not their version if that makes sense. Also Im with you with not caring for the time travel we don't even have our two boys to round out the the main cast and we lack a supporting cast for what should be a generation 2 Descendants but I can give them props for wanting to take their time with Red interacting with new characters and this gen seems to be taking its time than rushing to the end stretch.

I watched this video, a week ago, but i decided to comment to give my take. I just think they should've did better with the outfits as a WHOLE! The whole thing about the VK's is they were forms of LEATHER.. Red she's a VK, Maybe not from the Isle, but she is a VK,... ALL VK's should have Leather, wether it be a patch of leather or a full look of leather, Leather was needed. Her outfits simply look plain and Party City, Uma idk how but her's still manage to look like D1-D3 ish. I have no comment about the cinderella stuff, i just dont even care for it.... What I don't understand is why Cinderella is black. Listen, I'm not racist, but it's illogical that Disney's original Cinderella is black. And it's impossible for Chad to be her son because he's blond. Also in the first film we saw a picture of her and Prince Charming (but the original Cinderella of 1950).
