I always think Kings Demons would have been a great opportunity to bring back the Monk. A great review of season 20.

The Dog robot is called the Garm. Remember it, he did save the universe after all.. while asking the Doctor: “is this necessary?” 😹

I remember watching this as a kid; it blew my mind.

When I was growing up in the UK, every kid, I mean every kid watched Tom Baker as Dr Who on Saturday.There no Police Boxes around then and I remember first thinking Dr Who was a cop that worked with the Police force. When I discovered regeneration, and he turned to Peter Davison, that is when I really went crazy over it.

I enjoy season 20 too. I agree. There are no bad stories in this season. Mawdryn was played by Davin Collings who also played Vorus in Revenge of the Cybermen and Poul in The Robots of Death. Frank Windsor played the manor of the castle in The King’s Demon. He also played Inspector Mackenzie in Ghost Light. Below is my ranking.
