Aloha Mike, you have done the Petronas Towers run, right? Watching the clip, I am impressed also with your editing skills... especially the musical selection.. reminds me of the "Endless Summer" Surfring.. of the 70s...

Thank you for watching and appreciate the comments. Petronas tower I've been there before and I prefer not to ride in the big city. Lot of traffic and very hot 🔥, but to gain access to genting Highlands we had to skirt us another road was closed off because of landslides. The one we went through on the rocks was another road that was close but luckily there was a spot to get through.

Hi Mike, Just recently discovered your channel after purchasing my 2023 NC750X DCT. I especially enjoyed your updated reviews & what you've added to the bike. Like you, I am also a bit vertically challenged at 5'6" (and also Canadian - Must be the shorter growing season up here in the Great White North) ;) Anyway, I am finding that I am leaning a bit further forward than I would like on the bike, and was wondering how much of a difference the handlebar risers would make. I would like to try them but I'm worried that it might involve re-routing cables or wires if I get maybe 2" risers. Did you happen to run into this issue? ... If not, I'd appreciate knowing which risers you used on your bike as well. Keep up the good work, and travel on!

Send me your email address or messenger and I can send you a few pictures of my Riders but my cables were long enough

when I installed my risers it was at least 6 years ago, it was from a local dealer in Thailand and they are approximately 2 inches high and also angle towards the rider not straight up. Thanks for watching and Ride Safe

Awesome video Mike, BTW you had that NC750 on some dirt 😳, I have been told by the internet experts that is not an adventure bike 😂😂

😱, omg I'm really happy I just survived that !!! Yep lots of experts out there riding a computer more than a motorcycle!!!! Thanks for watching.

Unfortunately, too many YT viewers are listening too much on so called experts on YT without testing them self. And what is worst, is the cb650r/f street bike or the driver should not survive that trip at all if the so called experts had their say! 😆

Thanks for sharing! Is it easier to get in to Malaysia than Laos with a Thai vehicle? I know from experience that Laos is a pain in the butt.

Definitely border-crossing is much easier especially if you contact an agent who can prepare all the documents before you cross. Malaysia has a decal that you stick on your screen, temporary import document and insurance. Approx cost 1500 baht . It took us less than 15 minutes to cross. Ride safe

@@jberto1212 I did not change anything original from this motorcycle. Except for the Accessories which are just add-ons and I don't plan to change original parts, obviously I had to change the suspension but the original I rode it for 80,000 kilometers.

I've got a 2020 NC750X and I must say that the older models from 2014 have a better gearbox, making less noise.

Well to be honest I wasn't aware of that, but I had a newer X-ADV with the four modes of DCT and it was much smoother than my NC.

I do not agree. My 2017 NC750X DCT gearbox is smoother than my old 2012 NC700X DCT. But i have not tried newer NC's like yours.
