Just an FYI, I own a 2014 R1200RT that just turned 30,000 miles. I heard about the new 36K driveshaft replacement so I took my bike to our local BMW dealership and they checked out the driveshaft and it failed... I was very surprised because I haven't noticed anything unusual but I am glad I had it checked. They replaced it with a new shaft and of course it was no cost to me. That was super cool..I really can't notice much difference but I glad I had it checked.

Smoak I gotta say my truth, that 1300 GSA is exactly not my cup of tea, coffee or rum. No Sir it just doesn’t do anything for me at all. Yes these 1300’s are in fact better bikes. As a matter of fact, the 1300 GS forced me to pull the trigger on a 2023 R 1250 GS to my outstanding surprise at how much I love this machine. Your channel had a hand in my love of the 1250’s, and I say Thank You Very Much. Did I mention how much I love my 1250? 👊😎

Sweet looking machine. You mentioned people copying key fobs, we store ours in a faraday box that blocks the signal. Going on way too often, even up here in the True north.

Since you'll probably be a master Japanese tech, maybe they'll send you on a Japanese factory tour. Lol. Won't be long before you retire and you'll be at a McDonald's watching U-Tube videos like me and waiting for spring. Been doing spring housekeeping now, trying to get ahead of the game. 👍👍

BMW'S and Harley's both have that in business sound but both of them DO the business. Temp here was slightly warmer but I was glad other business overrode my bike ride. Brrrr!!! Lol. You are putting bikes together like you have a purpose in mind. Stay safe and try to con Mother into some decent weekend riding weather. I know that's virtually IMPOSSIBLE. But you know the old saying, NOTHING BEATS A GOOD TRY😂

Nice rip around the OTA’ lot. Bike sounds good. Still not a fan though. Don’t know about a 4 banger in a bigger truck. If I still lived in NM I’d bet that engine would get smoked running up and down the mountains. Talked about your baked oil!
