This won't be a traditional Let's Play of Starfield, this play through will be following the life of Wyatt & I will be playing the game in character. This means internal dialogue, character development, decisions made by the character, not the player & all the good and grand things that come from playing the game this way.

I always really appreciate your voice acting talent, and honestly the spacesuit audio that you've got going on with this series really adds so much to it. These are the types of videos where you can plop on your headphones and really get sucked in.

Scott, a small role-playing tip which I've been using personally but which may or may not translate well to a broadcast such as yours. We know how Bethesda games like to have random NPCs tell you their entire life story as you walk past them, or often say things that make no sense given that you're a complete stranger. In Skyrim and Fallout 4, ignoring these strange and frequent encounters left you with a funny feeling because you know a person would have to be a dick to just flat out ignore someone speaking to them. It got to the point where I used mods so I could walk down the street in peace. But in Starfield, it's easy to just role-play that they're not speaking to us. They're speaking on a device plugged into their ears. In other words it's just more background noise and there's no expectation that we should reply or even look in their direction. Of course as I said this may not translate well to a broadcast because unless viewers know exactly what you're doing, they WILL think you're being rude to the NPCs. This can be avoided for viewers who watch the whole way through if you were to make a one-time comment like "All these people talking on their devices, oblivious to the world around them" or some such remark. Up to you. I doubt you'll do this but all I can say is that as soon as I started viewing NPC comments this way, I was able to enjoy a much more peaceful experience in crowds---especially in situations like I had last night when a Neon guard, out of the blue and for no reason whatsoever, said, "Keep talking if you want to see how short my temper can get" (or something like that). But I walked cheerfully away from her because she wasn't talking to ME. She was talking to her boyfriend who was nagging her to come home after her shift instead of going out to play poker with her friends all night. Simple, easy solution to Bethesda's absurd choices in world-building.

Wow this is actually a great tip! However, as you said about the viewers may not understand this and think he's being rude to the npcs, there is another option. A mod that reduces the npc greetings or just completely remove them.

Brilliant as expected! Your physical emoting with the camera is just the coolest. Have you ever thought about having a second voice effect for internal monologue as opposed to saying everything out loud in the company of companions? Mic crackle or natural for out loud stuff and maybe a bit of a slightly muffled, bass-heavy filter for things not spoken out loud? I teach a college-level arts appreciation class and we cover video-games for a few weeks; I’m planning on using your channel as an example of how one art form can spawn another- and how video games can be used to tell immersive stories in a way no other form can… wether you’re playing or not.

Did you know there's a cover system? If you're near a wall, or crouched behind a counter or another type of low cover, your character will change the way they hold their gun. When you aim your character will peek out.. I'm asking because i just found out by total accident while playing earlier today.

Just my opinion, going completely HUDless might add immersion, but when about half of the gameplay is looting and you never see any of the actual loot, it comes off fairly dry...

Disagree. Watching a character kiester 10 guns, 5 Spacesuits, 7 helmets and 300 rounds of ammo plus odds and ends on camera is completely immersion breaking in a full on RP scenario like this.

So I’m curious who Wyatt will potentially romance. I’m thinking Andreja or Barret. Sam’s too sweet and I doubt Wyatt’s good with kids. Sarah’s a possibility, but I can see Wyatt needing to be a little more brutal than she likes. So my guess will be Andreja just cuz idk if Wyatt’s into dudes but he didn’t have much of a response when he first met Barret.

In theme with Starfield, I would absolute LOVE to watch you play Cyberpunk especially with the new expansion. Have been here since Riley and would honestly love to see something in a similar style to the Iron Maiden playthrough. I think it would make for some great content. Cheers bro
