You need to look at the total timing at 3000 rpm Should be around 34 degrees before top dead center

So just set my idle screw til I get around 3k and use my light again?

@@averagebogarage You don't need to move the idle screw just stick something between the screw and stop to get around 2 or 3 k rpm then I think your fancy timing light can be adjusted to read 34 degrees BTDC read the instructions how to do that or search for total timing advance for setting up a centrifugal distributor It will run much better at highway speed
