Awesome project, Rosie! That will make a nice Christmas gift. I once had a nifty, new little tiny pair of embroidery scissors, I found them on the floor one day with one handle chewed nearly off! My little shadow chihuahua had found them. Lastly, I got a new rotary cutter last week and wore a bandaid on my left middle fingertip all week.. 🙃 Thanks for another awesome pattern, I love the fabric! Jonee

Great video! Do you have a link for the elastic that you use?
@digging4rootsАй бұрын
Over the years, I've made quite a few covers. I have one suggestion so you don't need to leave a seam open or turn it through. Lay the outer cover on the table, face up, followed by the sleeves on each side, and then the inside lining right sides down. Make the inside lining LESS than the length of the body of the cover as it does not need to be caught in the seams and it will lay underneath the sleeves where the edges can not be seen. Sometimes I serge the edges of the inside lining that is under the sleeves. Then sew all the way around. Then just turn it right side out through the gap left behind the sleeve.

A thought I would make a fabric pen holder pouch maybe with a button and slide on the elastic before u sew it in so u would have a pen holder pouch on the elastic band so you know you always have a pen and not worry about Fallin out of the loop lol
