I finally managed to get a chance and sit down and watch some of my favorite sewing channels. I loved the scene where the baby was helping with the measuring tape it made me laugh. My jossette does the same thing when I sew. She thinks it's time to cut the thread when I'm halfway through a hand sewing project.

1) Those crafts are so flipping cute, and your fabric choices were perfect. My Hussif's on the to-do list, maybe for this week, and part of me wants to make a boatload of those ornaments for my own tree. So, I can't go back and redo a two plus year old video, but if you are curious about the hussif: The 18th and 19th century “housewife” (also known as “hussif”) was a compact sewing kit which contained pockets that held sewing tools and accoutrements. It was small in size and used by both men and women of all classes.
