Krista: This is good news, don't you think? But you're not happy about it.
Elliot: I'm not sure.
K: When did you get it?
E: This morning.
K: How are your interactions with him?
E: For the first time, we trust each other. I help him, he helps me. Since I've been at my mom's, I wanted to get rid of him. But you were right. You can't destroy a part of yourself.
K: Elliot, I need to ask you a question. Where do you think you are right now?
E: What do you mean?
K: Elliot, you know you haven't been staying with your mother, right?
E: I know.
alarm sounds
K: When you get released, I hope you continue seeing me in my office. I think it's important we maintain our regular schedule. Don't you agree?
E: Yes.
Control can sometimes be an illusion. But sometimes you need illusion to gain control. Fantasy is an easy way to give meaning to the world, to cloak our harsh reality with escapist comfort. After all, isn't that why we surround ourselves with so many screens? So we can avoid seeing? So we can avoid each other?
(Inmate: I don't think I'm ready to talk about it just yet.)
So we can avoid truth. I'm sorry for not telling you everything. But I needed this in order to get better. Please don't be mad too long. This will be the last time I keep things from you. I promise. I know what you're thinking. And no, I didn't lie to you.
(Prison guard/Elliot's mom: See you in the morning.)
All of this really happened. This was just my way of coping with it. But now, I'd like it if we could trust each other again.

In season 1 it was that Mr robot was actually Eliot's dead father, that he only exists in Eliot's mind and that Eliot is in fact Mr Robot. In Season 2 it was that everything that had happened to Eliot in that season up until that point had actually taken place in Prison. So now I'm curious: what will be the great mindfuck halfway through the season be for season 3?

It was a grest plot twist. I'll be totally honest there were suggestions he was in prison but i just didn't expect such a twist. The fact that he always did the same routine everyday and that the social world around hin seemed confined in such specific places was a subtle suggestion.

When I first saw this, I was kinda angry because it felt such a cheap plot twist that came out of nowhere. Then a few hours later I started to think about it, and god, there was so many hints and things that didn't fit I felt like I was so blind and totally delighted at how they managed to do this. Right now season 2 is the best season for me.
