Yellowstone in the Wild! I think that a driving trip through the Badlands, Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon and a few other places, depending, (Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Arizona, maybe) was a "must do" item for people / families who could make it happen in the '30s, '40s & '50s. And they documented it for what it was - the trip of a lifetime (at that time). I laugh when I see older family / travel albums of any kind - fish always seem to figure in. Either people fished more or were prouder of what they caught (probably they were camping and catching dinner). The locket with the guy's face scratched out - maybe there is a bad breakup story behind it. It's not Jack, is it? Chubby finally rubbed him out? Good finds - looks like a great sale - wish I lived closer. Lot of stuff I saw that I would have grabbed. Hope you have a great Monday, that the weather becomes beautiful, and that cleanouts and picks start coming through!

Had a little chuckle about the locket. If I were to find anything in regard to either of them at a random yard sale, that would be the "find of a lifetime" for sure! Fishing stories from Yellowstone probably included that "I caught one this big!" line, it had to! I usually see a few fishermen when driving around Yellowstone and it always look so peaceful... as long as one can stay "Bear Aware" and watch out for any furry creatures! Going out tomorrow do a "barn" pick, we shall what we can find!

Yellowstone in the wild for the win! 01:24 Ronald Reagan WWII era publicity photo - bet that sold fairly quickly. 05:24 I'd have been all over the rubber truck in the back; my dad had some from the 30s/WWII era. I could use a good sale like that here, but it doesn't happen.

A nice and very well organized indoor yard sale, hopefully with reasonable prices. My personal favorites were the old comics, the smurfs and the PEZ spenders, but "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder, isn´t it ?! The price for the 1798 German Bible was a little bit ambitious, because nearly every family back in these days got one. Anyways, this was a very informative and entertaining trip, thanks for taking us along.👌Congrats on this neat Yellowstone photo album, and hope you enjoyed the donut from the Allentown farmer´s market ! 🍩 Greets from GER, U. There was something, I noticed when I was editing. Too late for a re-do! Haha. The German Bible, well, that will probably be taken to many, many shows at that price. Perhaps they are just aiming high & seeing if anyone will place an offer. The donut was good! That bakery has rave reviews on their Facebook page, so I knew if people were always buying by the dozen or more, it had to be good! I'll have to try something less "plain" next time, though the glazed was tasty! Hope that you have a great week!

I wanted to peg the dog so badly, but it didn’t seem like it was open to pets. Poor guy was probably more concerned about when it would be time to go home & get out of that outfit! There was a table that fell and it had a whole bunch of fire king and carnival glass on it. I don’t know if someone ran into it or if the seller didn’t have the table locked correctly. It also might have been to heavy and someone bumped into it and then the whole table fell. :(
