£1700 a month as a waitress? I think not. Unless you’re in a top London hotel/restaurant. Avg uk wage for a Waitress is £1000 a month. I’m in accounting and went to university for 3 years to train, then took up a post graduate role with a firm based near Worcester, I was on £1350 a month take home for 2 years until I completed my post grad posting, then I had to apply for a full time accountant role and luckily I got in, I bring home £2348 a month salary and receive a bonus once a year of circa £1780 after tax. Cabin crew have strict security and safety protocols but training is purely in house and no industry minimum is expected. So £2000 take home a month is extremely unlikely unless you have max shifts and are a cabin manager.

@@karolinaundertheirishclouds Question, the base salary depends on the country and city you work in, right? I heard from another video that the base salary in Marseille was 850€ a month and then 5€ per flight hour, but in other cities/countries the salary can be higher, my recruiter said that the lowest base salary is 900-1000€ and the highest can be 1400€ but I presume is that with the flight hours included or without? I have worked in Italy, and I to be fair, I was doing 100 hours of work in 2 weeks, so 100 hours a month doesnt sound that bad to me. Maybe I’m naive, I am seriously so confused and dont know if it’s worth it, I’d most likely have to quit Ryanair after a short time if I were to start since with this salary I wouldnt be able to make a future for myself.
