I am almost finished painting my 02 Silverado with this color . It does have a purple shade at night. During the day it looks just like the video . My base was the same rustoleum satin black . It is a little tricky to use almost like candy colors in that the whole surface has to be covered evenly . I made the mistake of trying to paint with the fuel door installed and you can see a color difference where I painted around the filler and the side of the truck but since this is my daily driving work truck I'm okay with it.

Looks awesome! About how much clear do you think I would need to paint the interior of a 67 Chevy truck cab? How much this eye candy would I need for the clear to do inside of the cab? Trying to do inside of cab and firewall gloss and exterior of truck flat clear eventually…..I need to get interior of cab done so I can get the cab back on the frame. I’m doing my exterior lagoon patina and think this color candy over matte black would be a good match for the inside with the lagoon outside.

Fun watching how the pearls change the color! I just got my 93 f150 on the road. it's Oxford White. the blue pearl looked okay over the white, but do they have like a rainbow pearl? It would be cool to see something like that, or a silver pearl over white. Thanks and Cheers!

out of curiosity and not familiar with clear coating at all, if you were painting your car, and you wet sand between layers, would there be a color change affect on the sushi by adding protective layers of clear coat?

Just a thought here, tell me to get lost if you want, but would you be better off using an old hood with a bit more surface area for these tests so you could do more bases at once? Also, would that give you the option of masking up ghosting graphics like stripes etc. ? Just a thought
