Have you tried white base, sky blue pearl ? Or sky blue base with white pearl ? I’ve seen a classic truck with a white roof that had a very subtle sky blue tint - not sure how it was done

The purple fender with teal pearl jumps out so easily. That is the winner in my eyes. I am glad ai watched to the end too . . . there are no easy answers to a person’s decision for suicide. I lost my first born son to fentanyl in 2015 and for the next several years I peered over the edge myself. Now fast forward to 2023 and my youngest son was poisoned with fentanyl and passed away. The edge got closer. Sometimes just a friendly phone call keeps a fella from that edge. Don’t be afraid to ask OR to hear what a person may be thinking. Judgment is never helpful. But a word of encouragement is.

My adopted daughter's sister took her own life and after her telling me about it is why I wanted to do a car in her honor. It will definitely be painted with the purple base with the pearl. Wow I didn't even know those colors represented suicide awareness I have a 91 Dodge Shadow convertible that I've already painted the gloss version of Seaside and a 93 Subaru Impreza Wagon that have begin painting grape again I had no idea that those colors would represent it but it's pretty fitting for me to paint my cars that considering I have dealt with extreme depression for the past 12 years of my life and have attempted suicide three times thankfully and obviously not succeeding

LOL, I told you I've been binging this series (at this point I think I've seen all the ones that you have put up)... Now it seems like from your previous experiments the teal pearl over the purple would have been the winner since almost as a rule you've had better results with pearl over a darker color vs over a lighter color, but where it doesn't match up is that you had a good result over a gloss, which didn't work as well before. I guess we don't know that it wouldn't have been better over a flat purple...

Now you have me working around how to test this- it's easy with black because it's easy to get a flat and a gloss black, but with other colors... huh... I have an idea that could be done with sprayed quarts but that adds another variable- I've used gloss hardener with them, I know that you can get flat hardener also but I haven't tried to see how that would work with Rustoleum...

Definitely the purple with the teal pearl looks the best, especially in natural lighting. The darker blue is a close second, but the lighter blue really doesn’t have much of a pop of the pearl. Have you done anything with multiple pearl colors in the same background?

Love this channel man! Yhose are nice colors too! Have you used the cheap hi teck gallon kit before? Then used a quality clear over it? I was considering getting a blue pearl gallon kit from hi teck and then use HOK clear for my old square body f150 farm truck.

Right after I'm done spraying, I pour some acetone and shake it clean, throw it out.. then add a little more and spray it out. Another thing I like to keep handy, carburetor cleaners 👌 works wonders!

I used to have a sony video camera that showed colors off from what i saw them with my naked. Eye. The video of my sv1000s on my channel it looks like it is a candy red color, despite it being hok tangerine candy. I had a kodak digital camera that took photos and it always showed up as the candy orange color my eyes saw.

The valve cover I did on my community section is the same way in pictures it has more of a brownish red look. In person and by eye it has more of a dark cherry red to black shift to it.
