I know this is a older video 📹 and I'm just now looking at it but coming from a barn you have that gold wing 🪽 looking amazing 👏 at one time someone put a lot of time and effort and money in that bike, you can tell by some of the extras they had added like the extra chrome And the trailer hitch on the back but one of the extras you said you would probably take off if it wouldn't leave a shadow you called it stripping but it's gold leaf with a pin stripe boarder and believe me when they had it put on it wasn't cheap 😉 it's not cheap now a days just imagine how much it was 30 or more years ago 😅 keep up the good work 😊

Great to see the bike looking so good, particularly after sitting for so long in a barn. With so much chrome and embellishments, it deserves to be kept in this condition.

Just got a fully loaded 85 limited edition. Fuel injected. Was a Georgia police bike when new. Got 109k miles on it but started right up purrs like a kitten. Thanks for the cleaning tips.

It's a pretty sweet project, nice bike really. An old bike that still gives you the thrill to ride. Honda knew what they were doing back then and even now. Enjoy the bike.

What a BEAUTY! It kinda makes me miss my old '84. I ride a '99 1500SE now and would not hesitate to head out ANYWHERE, on it OR yours. Wanna swap for a weekend or two?

I use 000 steel wool, then Quick Detail, on all my chrome, my bike is 10 years old, and has 122,000 miles on it, and the chrome looks like new.

You can use Simple Green, spary it first the wash with water. Use a detail brush..Fk1000p wax can be used on paint and wheels. Just wiping down grinds the dirt into the paint.

Do you want another one? I've got one been in the garage the whole time. It's got 12000 miles on it. One owner, 85 Aspencade.

I just sold this one a couple months ago. I have owned and ridden every gold wing made, except for the new ones... if I start riding again, I would buy another ST1300, I prefer the riding position and the sporty feel...

You know I was sitting here thinking a guy told me once to spray down the engine bay of a vehicle and then go out and warm it up and power wash it .

Just a suggestion from a person that has detailed vehicles from exotic European cars to domestic cars for years please do not use armor all armor all takes the natural oils out of plastic vinyl and other materials I actually knew the person that invented armor all years ago, and still do not use their products because of what I said above is anything but armor

why not CLEAN the dirt off first BEFORE you put protectant on top of it, all that did is make the dirt look shiny & slippery. There's no way you got half the dirt off that seat after you wiped it the next day, you should test your theory next time around, i think you'll see your it's not doing what you think. Nice video & editing!
@GlennsSpeedShop Жыл бұрын
Oh, I have armoralled dirty seats forever, you should try it. The oils will soak through the dirts, making the materials soft and will help release the dirt. It's great! Thanks for the comment Glenn

@@GlennsSpeedShop I will give it a shot, i'll test your theory on half the seat & the traditional cleaning on the other. Thanks
