Yestarday I was on the OMG (ONE MORE GAME) con in Wrocław, Poland. I met the author of this game and was thinking if I want this game. After a short play and rules explanation I decided to buy it directly from author. When returned to home I checked if there is any content creator I regulary watch who covered this game and shared some opinion about it. You did not disapointed me. As always solid material.

im probably going to late pledge for the reprint. hopefully the manual is a second edition with most of the issues fixed. the late pledge closes at the end of August. Probably going to grab the Zerywia Quest box too since that seems to complete the map. Found out about this game from your Runebound substitute video. also found a copy of Domain of Mirza Noctis at retail (at gamenerdz) so i have that on the way based on your recommendation. thanks for your help! 👍

Great video!! I’m very intrigued by this game. How long does it usually run? Between 1-3 hours usually? Have you had more plays and are they as enjoyable anytime? Do you have other game recommendations for cooperative adventure games? Sorry for the many questions! Your video got me thinking and hyped!

Very interesting game with a unique flavor. Really feels like a mixture of Runebound and Return of the Heroes. Pity that I totally missed out on the KS. See if there's a chance to hop on the late pledge if there's one.

Glad to see that you liked it. Like you, I tend to cull my collection and only keep that I know I will play frequently. I was turned off by this game by the developers actions during KS. Constantly misleading and lying. I was ready to sell it unopened as soon as I got it. Figured it would be another failed promise of a game. Well if my copy ever ends up in Florida, I'll make sure to give it a chance now.

Nearly backed this until I found out the replay ability is poor. I think once I finally get Trudvang that will pretty much cover this game and what I was looking for in a map exploration style game.

There’s a ton of replay. 4 campaigns. A stand-alone sandbox scenario. 11 heroes. A few dozen sagas to mix and match. Hundreds of encounters and enemies. Probably a hundred hours or so of game play packed in a single box.

@@TheDungeonDive not according to another video I saw. The guy even says “not a long campaign like Gloomhaven”. He even states there’s 3 chapters up to 3hrs for each so about 9hrs max. Confused where you get 100hr game from other than playing the campaign 10+ times. I got the impression the ending is the same every time you play. “final confrontation” I think it’s called. So yeah I pretty much passed after seeing that video but I did like the look of the game. Map looks great. Given that the rulebook is terrible and delivery is poor I’d probably still pass. There’s comments on BGG and Gamefound from people who only just got their copy from the first print and even some that haven’t received anything yet here’s a second print of the game. Doesn’t fill you with much confidence.

Replay means you play the game over and over again. GH doesn't have replay. It's just long (and super dull). Zerywia has short campaigns with a ton of variability. You can play each of the 11 heroes with any mix of the 30+ sagas, which will make for very different games each time. Times that massive number by 5 (4 campaigns, and the standalone scenario) and you have an astronomically huge number of times to play the game different. Then you can also play through all 4 campaigns in an epic mode. You can easily play the game for a hundred hours without ever seeing the same combination of stuff. That's replay. Gloomhaven is just really long.
