Oh how I wish I could go back in time to find this video! I also meet 8 out of the 9 symptoms. I’ve only recently been diagnosed. Sending all the love and support your way. 💕

Hi Kylie. I know it's an old video and you have already been recovered. But, I wanted to suggest reading an amazing book that has been really helpful for people who are struggling with BPD or people who have been recovered from that (like myself) to continue their improvement and heal the potential remaining traits. The book was originally written for mental health professionals but the language is very simple and easy to understand. You can just read the first chapters explaining the concepts of "schemas" and "modes" and then you can jump to the chapter that is specifically for BPD. The author (Dr Jeffrey Young) has an amazing understanding of BPD and has fought a lot against stigmatising this disorder. This book has been really life changing for me and I'm still continuing to read the books of this author even after my recovery (I was recovered through this specific therapeutic approach). The concepts and recommendations are really helpful for a quality post-treatment growth and improving self-caring and love inside ourselves. The name of the book is: "schema therapy : a practitioner's guide" Author: Jeffrey Young and colleagues (I would recommend the 2006th version).
