And permanent positing in a govt job is a myth you will be transferred in a span of 5-10 years specially in South India, here in North India Transfers takes a lot of time in these departments.

Thr is one famous saying in cbic. Excise inspector has 3 stars. Even u hv to wear the uniform for 3 tyms in a year.. That too not compulsory.. ,,this uniform has nothing to do wid the job. U get rare opportunities to wear it. Even a single star ASI of police is 100 tyms powerful than a gst inspector..
