I was so intrested in this post literally was excited to prepare for accounts but when I saw your plan of all quarters (Civil) it has extensive travel like 60-70 days in a quarter with readjustments every 5 days and even for 2,2 days in a week traveling to villages would obviously be difficult as their will not be any transport like railway to reach interiors plus 9 months of traveling in a year is too difficult that too readjustments every week imagine doing this atleast 30 yrs with one promotion 😧 Better one should opt for 4600 gp home post AAO home posting = non home posting like seriously 😳

This is correct. AAO is the worst job of ssc CGL. But small states like Goa tripura are good in respective of touring.

What is the average tour distance? Is that 40-50km or 150-200 km??? & normal duration of one tour??? After 7-8 years of job can aao gets desk job posting???

Nothing like average Tour distance. Depends on the size of the State you get posted at. In Telangana State, for example, almost 99% of the cases, one can come back to his/her home in Hyderabad (suppose) from Field everyday(if needed). But the journey is usually hectic, hence no one usually does that. Then, in Andhra Pradesh, HQ is in Vijayawada and you can get field as far as Tirupati which is 8 hours journey from Vijayawada. So, it all depends on the size of the State you get posted at. At any time you can be posted at HQ desk jobs, there is no time frame for that but usually in big offices it is tough to get a desk job as there are already experienced people sitting there who prefer desk job than tour. Bottom line, as an AAO you cannot avoid Tour/Field Programme.

Go to defence audit, ur office in dehradun but u have to roam from rajastan to arunachal pradesh. AAO is the worst job . Small states it is good compare to bigger states n defence audit

Ye SSC CGL 2023 ki notification me hi likha hua thha ki Central Government Civilian employees with minimum 3 years of regular service can apply for Group C posts of SSC CGL till 40 years of age (for UR category)..
