Webtoon comics "Batman: Wayne Family Adventures" had episode or 2 with cow in it. 🤪 Btw if you enjoy wholesome and funny slice of life adventures of batfamily (batman,Dick,Barbara,Cass,Duke,Tim,Alfred,Steph, and more) def. go check it out, i was surprised how much i enjoyed their stories and they are pretty short so it wont take much time to sample it.

First of, I congratulate you on your work ethic, Boba. The episode to me wasn’t as bad as I thought but it also wasn’t good. There’s simply a lot of things working against Gotham Knights from the premise to the dialogue and the action scenes. I will say this episode was better than the Flash episode this week because there was no Flash episode this week. (9x06 was filler with Cecile and Allegra. Totally skippable. Only 2 scenes of Barry.)

Thanks for making this video. Loved your editing in this one especially - great facial expressions and camerawork, really highlighted the humor. We have to laugh or we'd cry, right? What I don't understand is how this and Gotham Knights the game both got greenlit around the same time. Both have the premise of Batman dying and young people having to band together in the wake of that. The details of both are quite different in spots, but both feature the Court of Owls as a major adversary. Since they have the same name, it's terrible for SEO, and confusing for any casual fans. Was WB really that messed up? (I guess we know the answer to that, given the Black Adam/Superman debacle, but still.) Anyway, all that being said, I expected Gotham Knights the show to be worse than it was, which is not a ringing endorsement but I guess it's better than nothing.

What if Batman isn't really dead and the body is just a clone while the real Bruce is in stasis being conditioned to become a Talon? Turner Hayes seems like those rich kids living in a bubble shielded from the harsh reality. Quite a departure from the Robins we know but shows a more caring and compassionate side of Bruce. Carrie Kelley, I'm sorry but she's a one-shot and expendable. I like the idea of what if Bruce missed 'The Flying Graysons' final performance and never adopted Dick but got Turner instead. So Dick Grayson could still be out there somewhere. Jim Gordon probably left Gotham with Barbara or got killed. So many possibilities and that's what I like about the show. The cheesiness I think is intentional like a soap opera for teens. The awful cowl could be improved as it's only the pilot. I remember the awful spaceship they used in the pilot of Smallville that eventually got an upgrade.

Curiosity killed the bat. I too found myself lured in to this show, just to see what would happen. On the plus side, future “Entertainment Business 101” college courses will have a case study in what not to do with a franchise. I am guessing the committees that green-lit this one (and allowed a game with a totally different story line to use the same title) are all now purged from the CW, the Warner-Discoverse, and whoever else owned the trail of companies linked to it. However, I do hope the talented actors will benefit from the experience and move on to greater things (if they can ever figure out who really owes them a paycheck). Meanwhile, I think my curiosity is satisfied for this one.

Gotham Knights should've been about Nightwing, Damian Wayne, Red Hood, Tim Drake, Batgirl, Duke Thomas, Luke Thomas, Batwoman, & Azrael taking over to defend Gotham after Bruce Wayne & Selina Kyle who are married were killed together one night out on patrol. What happened is that one night on patrol Batman & Selina were out, Batman has a heart attack like on the first episode of Batman Beyond which distracted Selina, & they were both killed. This should've been on HBO Max as well.

I’m loving the show too. I’m a huge Batman fan but, I think it’s getting better and better with each episode. It’s not black and white as people are describing this episode. The story is much more involved and it’s a pity that everything that people are criticizing in the pilot becomes more complex and gets addressed in later episodes. I think people just don’t have the patience to give the show a chance.

I don’t know why they used a Haze, I guess it’s another adopted son. But wouldn’t it just of been better to use a Kane somebody in the distant Wayne family. Maybe Batman left it to a nephew grew up in England and finds out he inherited the way in Fortune and shows up to America the first time I think that would’ve been a cooler premise, and he finds out slowly coming across things by accident that Bruce Wayne his uncle was Batman and keeps it a secret.

Maybe it wasn't Bruce who opened the bookcase and got the cowl out, it was his killer, who then put it on him. But it's hard to believe that Batman's instincts are so bad that he employed Cressida. As for the gang easily getting access to Wayne Tower, this is an Elseworlds tale, as evidenced by the GCPD blimps, so perhaps in this reality, security systems aren't as sophisticated as in our world. Certainly the Batcave looked pretty low-tech, and the Bat vehicles, boat, bike, plane, and the Batmobile seemed to be missing.

First off, I’m a lifelong Batman and comic fan. The pilot wasn’t perfect but continued to watch. And I find that with each episode it gets better. The mystery becomes more evolved, so your criticisms of this episode, for example, Batman’s death, is explored in later episodes. Because obviously how could anyone be able kill Batman? With the exception of Turner, all the characters were in the comics, even Cressida which, I found endearing. The Harvey Dent storyline here is the only one that develops it correctly, as opposed to any of the films. So that is definitely a positive. The Court of Owls storyline and the way it is developing on the show is also fairly close to the comics as well(Talon, members, their issue with Wayne family, and how they nearly did Kill Batman). The show is definitely a slow burn, I’m not going to lie about that. I will say it really starts to find its footing by episode 3-4. The problem with most CW shows has always been its production value. Special effects, costumes, fight scenes in general with the exception of Superman and Lois, have always had issues on CW since its inception.

I do think this will be a typical CW young adult style show like Riverdale and not stylized like S&L. That’s okay as long as you go into knowing that. Was it a great start? No but it wasn’t as bad as everyone thought. Honestly, it didn’t really have a chance because everyone went into it expecting it to be bad. The criticisms are fair but I think it’s too early to criticize the writing and plot points until there are more episodes to flush them out. I think there will be an explanation of how Bruce gets shot or why his cowl was on but not the complete Bat suit, for example. I’m going to give it a shot.

I feel if James Gunn's DCU wasn't happening, more DC live action shows should've looked at how Gotham handled their source material. They couldn't use Joker, and they still managed to feature Cameron Monaghan's Joker-esque character(s) in SUPER interesting ways. The Gotham show is not by any means perfect and had plenty of issues, but it really had some GREAT characters and moments throughout. I think the Gotham Knights show (though it won't last long) if it were to continue shouldv'e looked at Gotham as a bar. You hit that bar? Solid show. You hit below it? Why are you here?

I'm getting the feeling that the kid is supposed to be the son of one of the court of owls which I think is kinda a cool idea I feel like the mask thing is that it might be the court killed him and put the mask on him saying the loved son of Gotham is batman since bruce see's himself more like batman but the mask I dont see why they coudlnt use a mask similar to batwoman's Batman

I personally enjoyed it. It was weird seeing all the unusual main characters but if u just treat like any other dc stuff like Harley Quinn cartoon and other stuff it pretty refreshing. I mean there’s already shit load of Batman stuff anyways. Just treat like another dc series with new characters.

How can the CW constantly get Batman's suit so bad... there are Cosplayers out there with far, far better costumes who I'd bet would have loaned their suit for a few seconds of screentime... there are loads of custom cowl makers - incredibly talented people who created superb cowls that they could have bought!
