It’s more based in Persia. The name Arslan is Persian for Lion. If I’m not mistaken it’s like the war between the Persian Empire and the Byzantines. For the anime, I wished the animators drew more profound Middle-Eastern influences.

i haven't watched the anime fully yet but i will defiantly check out the drawing of middle eastern influences, and that makes complete sense

Thank you mate! Your review really encouraged me to get vol 5 and 6. The only ones available at my local bookstore. Could you please tell me how "connected" are they to the first four volumes? Is it a must to read them before volume 5 & 6?

Man I watched Arslan Senki like 7 years ago, the original OVAs and the first two seasons. I wanted to read the Manga but guess what the anime was so ahead of the freaking manga in terms of how much it adapted from the novels that I checked for 3 years to see if it did pass the second season and it didn't. Has the manga finally went through the second season of the anime?

No unfortunately not I haven’t watched the anime my friend has and called me upset because it still has ended on the cliff hanger and nothing new it does suck because this is a great read

Hello ,I have a doubt ,will the heroic legend of arslan anime have the same ending as it's novel?? , because I heard the novel had a very chaotic ending ,but still the manga is ongoing ,so will the ending be changed in the anime ?? ,Pls reply

Hey so the little research I’ve done I see that the manga does follow the source material pretty well. I didn’t look at the ending just because I didn’t want to spoil myself, however my video was just a first impression so I’ve only read volume one though having everything that’s out now. I have to many eggs in one basket when it comes to reading so I’m taking my time, as I read further in the series soon I’d love to get back to you and let you know everything

@@geminimanga8336 thank you so much ,I really want to know about this ending ,.. because I only watch animes so I completed the anime ,but unfortunately I knew few big spoilers which will happen in the ending ,it was Chaotic , I didn't go further into the ending coz I am waiting for the season 3 of the anime ..,so that's why I don't know anything about the differences of novel and manga of the heroic legend of Arslan ,so after you complete the Arslan novel series , please let me know whether they will change the story of the ending in the anime ,coz they are many important scenes which came in the anime which were not there in the novel .. ,that's why I wanted to ask you if there is a difference between the ongoing manga of Arslan and the novel series which ended in 2017 ,so tell me if there is a difference between them ! The ongoing manga didn't end ..,its still ongoing ,the ending in the novel was Chaotic and they was no sense in that ending ,so pls let me know if they will change the ending in the anime or not !! , I want to know more information about Arslan regarding these changes between the novel ,the ongoing manga and the anime ,so pls upload videos related to Arslan soon ,I am waiting for it ,I've subscribed and also clicked the bell icon coz I want to see the upcoming Arslan novel review and the information regarding the changes videos..
