stipe is not pulling out, he's gonna get a nice retirement bonus to let jones easily finish him in the first round. it would be way too humiliating for the ufc and jones if stipe were to win, no way they'd risk letting them have a legit fight. just like they didn't risk letting jones and gane have a legit fight because they were desperate for a jones domination after francis left. it's just disgusting to me that in any other sport the career and legacy of jones would have been over years ago, but for whatever reason being a repeated steroid cheat in the ufc has no effect on his legacy. they still even praise him for the dc rematch that was ruled a no contest because he tested positive. i would so love for karma to catch up to this scumbag, woman beating pos, but like i said the ufc will never take the chance of their "goat" losing a fight where he's a 6 to 1 favorite. really hope this ppv flops, thankfully they didn't stack this card like i thought they would, to make jones look like the biggest star ever, so i won't be surprised if it doesn't do that well.

Seems Jones knowing he’s at the end of his career and has already proven what he’s proven has got his mindset on “big names on paper” type fights more then “unknown competitive risky fights” or whatever you wanna label it as. Whom did Jon finish in last 10 fights? Two fighters - Gane - novice wrestler and Alex Gustafsson in a rematch. All other fights he won by UD/SD, while many think, and I am one of them, that he lost to Reyes. Many think that he lost to Thiago Santos. Unless, Stipe is no longer Stipe he used to be 5 years ago, how in the world would Jon finish him? IMO old Stipe walks through Jon, by boxing, toughness and defensive wrestling. Now that he is 42, hard to say.

You are very wrong about Jones, he never faced real HW .Stipe is 42 but still very good, regardless he lost against Ngannou, he did make some technical error which cost him to lose. Also he came too light 233 pounds. Jones actually had big problems with toller guys. He lost against Dominic, he couldn't take him down EVEN ONCE. Stipe is different animal.
