Listen, JJ is a remarkable fighter. I don't think anyone, casuals included are disputing this. The problem is that he's a terrible person, not just historically. He talks like homelander does when doing PR stuff in the boys. He can't hide the psychopathy no matter how much he talks about his faith etc. It's performative. Of course I think he should fight Tom and truthfully, none of us know what will happen. He's likely to take Tom deeper than anyone else has thus far and it could go either way. What happened when Gus fought at Heavyweight? I'll tell you...he got demolished. What happened after Reyes beat up Jones? Reyes turned out to be a mediocre fighter. Jones didn't want to fight Jan B. Now Jones doesn't want to fight Aspinal. Beating Gane wasn't impressive because Gane has no grappling at all. Beating an older,out of his prime Stipe wasn't impressive either due to the fact Stipe's footwork,speed,timing, technique,and cardio wasn't there.
