1. Great breakdown dude! 2. Not seeing trailers was vital to the experience, I was encased in the mood and vibe. 3. I thought about this movie in the recesses of my mind for days 4. I can't wait to see this again. 5. People who are disappointed and follow the hype train and think a film sucks because of the lack fo jumpscares are a real problem. But the film isn't aimed at that audience but because they bought a ticket hopefully we'll get more as fans. 6.I like to number things lol cheers!

Yeah, you nailed it. I think the whole "scariest movie of the decade" marketing really got people's expectations out of hand. I loved it - it was tense and atmospheric as hell, with plenty of ambiguity/symbolism to chew on - but it's also easy to see people buying a ticket to see THE SCARIEST THING OF ALL TIME (TM) might have been let down.

I feel like this happens pretty often but Longlegs is the most recent one in memory where the hype machine really gets to a boiling point and you’re almost guaranteed to be let down. Thanks for watching man 🤝🫡

11:44 This is why I enjoyed Longlegs. Disturbing, creepy (which is what I told everyone after seeing it early) not scary. Not a horror movie per se.

I would definitely consider it a horror movie, but it also has a lot of the DNA of a more procedural, crime drama etc. thanks for checking out the video KB 🤝
