Ok…. So this isn’t a criticism of the band or of you, but rather my reaction to being slightly overwhelmed by the strength of feeling towards them. I think that because I’ve had these huge reaction videos in the past, I wanted to do a preemptive strike as it were, to manage expectations! Did I like the music I’ve heard from Lovebites so far? Let me say that I loved your reaction yesterday. It was genuine and you clearly loved the music. There are plenty of reactors who act as if EVERY song they listen to is the greatest song in the history of music. Having said that, I don't think today's video needed to be made. I don't think any of your viewers expects you to react exclusively or even mostly to LOVEBITES from now on. Almost every one of your 6,000 viewers from yesterday has seen dozens or hundreds of LOVEBITES reaction videos, and not a single one of those reactors now reacts exclusively to LOVEBITES. No rational person after seeing dozens of reactors not suddenly start reacting exclusively to LOVEBITES would now expect you to do what no other reactor has ever done, and start reacting exclusively to LOVEBITES. Also, I personally don't think it is worth rewarding the tiny number of negative comments by highlighting them. It's your channel and you can do what you want, when you want, if you want, and you don't need anyone's permission. As your channel grows, you'll get haters and even some trolls. Best to not feed them.
@Flo-vn9tyАй бұрын
I couldn't agree more. As much as I love seeing someone liking the stuff I like, I appreciate a honest review. That actually makes it more fun when these reactors like something. When it comes to those reactors that pretend that everything is the greatest thing they ever heard, you know that can't be true. There is only one line I draw there: you have to be respectful. So having a valid critique or appreciating the talent but admitting that it's not your cup of tea is totally fine. What's not ok is saying xyz is bad because I don't like it. But I feel Jim really was respectful in that way. In fact he seemed to genuinely like it. He just didn't have the 'this is the greatest stuff I have ever heard' reaction. In a way that's even a good thing. These reactors that talk like they can't believe that a woman can play guitar are somewhat weird to me.

Hello Jim I'm not surprised that so many people saw your video, because this happened to others before who reacted to LOVEBITES. As a great fan of LOVEBITES ( my favourite band since 2020 ) i would never say they are the best metal band in the world or the best band in decades or something like that. But the musicianship ( Miyako is also a pianist ) is outstanding, some of the lyrics are great ( maybe different to male bands) and they all wearing white stage dresses instead of dark clothes. LOVEBITES are special in a good way. Now Jim, i like what you said about your channel and if you feel comfortable, i think there is no need for changes.

Although I am a huge fan of LOVEBITES I completely agree with what you say, in fact I subscribed to your channel yesterday because I thought I detected in you a true music lover, who does not react just to get views. There are so many reaction channels that react on trendy bands just to get views from the communities. And this video confirms what I thought. Saying that LOVEBITES is the greatest band of all time is stupid, because there is no greatest band of all time. Although LOVEBITES is the music I wake up to in the morning (Thunder Vengeance), I am not a toxic or monomaniacal fan, it is one of my favorite bands for sure, I listen to them a lot since I discovered them, but how could I draw a line under Led Zep, Deep Purple, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, The Black Crowes, Queen, Pixies, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Hole, Björk, Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, Lana Del Rey, Audioslave, The Verve, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Duffy, PJ Harvey, Linkin Park, The Cardigans, Muse, Linda Perry, Annie Lennox, Concrete Blonde, Skunk Anansie … and more. In short Do what you like, it's your channel, I would be happy if you discover other pieces of LOVEBITES in the future, and I would also be happy if you discover other groups, if you want to continue in the Japanese world, I recommend ASTERISM (Dawn for example) or even NEMOPHILA (Rise, Life, Dissenssion) Good luck to you. What you said is reasonable and your skepticism is quite understandable in the context of the fact that you have heard only three of Lovebites songs. But the amazing thing about this group is that the more you immerse yourself in their work, the more you like them. It's addictive and there comes a time when you want to listen and watch them all the time. Moreover, to the detriment of other bands that have been dearly loved for a long time. I've been listening to progressive and jazz rock, modern and old, all my life, and I've never listened to metal bands that are mentioned next to Lovebites, like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica and others. I don't listen to them now and I won't listen to them in the future, I tried it, but it didn't seem interesting. I perceive Lovebites music as one of the forms of progressive. They became my main group for watching live performances, ahead of Dream Theater, which was in the first place for a long time. Another amazing quality of Lovebites is that you can listen to them an infinite number of times with constant pleasure. This is familiar to every fan of this band. I don't understand the desire to listen to as many different bands as possible. Of course, there may be a special interest as a leading reaction channel. I listen and watch live performances by a relatively small number of bands such as Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson, Animals as Leaders, PSMS, LTE, from the old ones - King Crimson and Robert Fripp, Return to Forever, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Gong. Lovebites is confidently included in this list.

@@JimNewstead Well, there's nothing to apologize for. I can say with confidence that Lovebites is one of the best things that has happened to me (as a sophisticated consumer of an audio-visual music product) in my entire life. Perhaps the greatest pleasure from watching and listening to music was received from this group. Fanaticism in all its manifestations is alien to me. The love for this band is the result of a completely sober and rational comparison of Lovebites and what they have already released with other musicians and their musical releases. You can experiment on yourself. Immerse yourself in the world of Lovebites and see what happens. The only problem is that their music products are focused on playing high-quality media on high-quality equipment and are not intended for mobile devices and screenings on YT. When you react to a YT video, you have no idea how much better it looks and sounds in good quality.

Of the above, I had Flying Colors - Third Stage Live in London 2019, Flying Colors, The Neal Morse Band - Morsefest 2019, Transatlantic - KaLiVEoscope 2014, RPWL - God Has Failed Live 2021. But I didn't keep all this for myself. I have four blu-ray Dream Theater, of which only one is Live at Budokan 2004 with Mike Portnoy (Mike Mangini, I like it better). I have seven concert blu-ray Lovebites, which are among the best in terms of video quality (direction, cinematography) and sound. We can say that this is a new standard for audiovisual products.

@@ChrisPage68 “brutal if you dare criticize” If you are suggesting that the toxicity level is based on the degree of dedication fans have to a single band, well that’s something I probably need to consider more. Personally, I like a lot of different bands, and I don’t seem to have the same issue with getting upset at others for being critical of these bands. So maybe there is a point there. Maybe if someone loves a band to a very strong degree, they become more protective of that band; more hostile to those who don’t share the same views.

@@SomethingToDo360 God... when exactly was the legend born that Lowbuts has some sort of technical superiority over other bands? Probably at the very moment when the first statements about their "greatness" started to be voiced. As long as Midori and Miyako are in the band, there can be no talk of superiority. They and Asami are the main ballast of this group. I have already described in detail hundreds of times what specific problems the M&M duo has, starting with fundamental errors in basic things. You can name almost any Japanese band of a similar or related genre, and 100% of the time, the guitarists will be heads and shoulders above them. And the performance in Korea that I've mentioned more than once should leave no one with any questions, as this overrated duo embarrassed themselves as much as possible there.
@SomethingToDo360Ай бұрын
@@ingopek5485 “As long as Midori and Miyako are in the band, there can be no talk of superiority.” If we are just talking about who the top 2 female Japanese guitarists are, and this in comparison to Lovebites, here is my opinion: Miyako is a little better than Hazuki. Midori is a little better than Miyako. Li-sa-X is a little better than Midori. Hal-ca is a little better than Li-sa-X. This evaluation doesn’t consider age at all. Hal-ca’s age is 21 and Li-sa-X is 19, which I would think, would also leave room for their improvement over those much older. For example, Midori’s age is 36 and Miyako is 34, while the assumption here (although I didn’t consider age in my scoring) is that Li-sa-X and Hal-ca would improve by those ages, which I would also think, should solidify their current victory. So my top 2 would be Hal-ca and Li-sa-X.

I'm always irritated by all these comments that say 'xyz is the best band in the world' as well. Lovebites fans say this about Lovebites, Band-Maid fans about Band-Maid, Nightwish fans about Nightwish, etc. There are several great bands out there and many of them are great for different reasons. How do you even decide which of them is the best? Why does the band you like always have to be better than everyone else? I also think Lovebites is one of the best currently active metal bands. But that is the thing: one of the best, not the best. In my mind no band is 'the best' because I think there is no such thing as a single band that is objectively better than everyone else. I like Lovebites but I also like Band-Maid and Nightwish (and other bands). I coudn't decide which of them is the best. And I don't think there is any need to decide which is the best. Nice comments! I like this video. You are perfectly right. You have absolutely shown that you have a huge taste for music. We fans cannot narrow it down to only Lovebites, or maybe rather only Japanese female metal and rock. That said, I think you might like those female Japanese metal/rock bands * Nemophila * BAND-MAID * Hanabie (ha-na-bee-eh) And I really think you will love Lovebites Soldier Stand Solitarily, it IS impressive. One thing though. Most reactors do NOT have the kind of integrity that you have. They are mainly in it for clicks, likes, subscriptions and patrons. They will follow all suggestions and try to do as much as they can of them. They will narrow down. And many viewers of reactors are used to that kind of behavior. And then they will give more suggestions on their favorite band. Even I do that. That is the main reason for what you now find annoying. Now, I do not say that Lovebite or Nemophila or Hanabie or BAND-MAID are the best bands ever. Partly because that would be unreasonable but also, I am not much for comparing. Is Lovebites better than Iron Maiden? OK, 2024 they obviously are, but over time? Actually, I do not care. Today I am listening to Lovebites, tomorrow it might be Iron Maiden.

Most fans of handmade music today are 50 or older and, like you, have many bands that they have loved for 30-40 years. What is special about Lovebites and many other Japanese bands, especially female bands, is the fact that this music is played by young people. That has become absolutely rare for us here in Germany. Our young people listen to and are interested almost exclusively in rap, hip-hop and pop music. There are also many bands here. Handmade music is being played or even just listened to less and less by young people. Europe's biggest guitar fair was recently held in Mannheim and the average age of the visitors there was that of an old people's home. In contrast, there is a huge underground rock scene in Japan, especially in Tokyo, with lots and lots of young musicians in their 20s and 30s. It's appropriate to be particularly happy about that ... I'm afraid we've all become too routine and snoozy. I hope that over time we can win a few young fans for rock music again with young artists ...🤘😅🤘

That, to me, is a scam. It's not honest. (Don't some reactors come to mind at once, Wolfpack?) KZbin fandoms can be cult-like. Whatever one thinks of that, there's no need to bow to or join in the madness. I want honest reactions, not fake ones. Luckily, they stay a great band whether or not they're hyped up... I may be be one who is guilty of saying they're the best band in the world right now (I probably am - I often run out of superlatives to say about them). It's of course tempered with full knowledge of that being a subjective opinion, and full understanding that if someone doesn't like female vocals, only like sdeath core metal, doesn't like metal at all etc, Lovebites won't be the best band in the world in their eyes. At the same time, I look at it as objectively as I can, and from a composition, talent and technicality/skill standpoint, I literally don't know of anyone who can match them. I think Tuomas from Nightwish has wonderful compositions. I'm sure there are bands out there I don't know of who wield formidable technical prowess. I think it is very, very safe to say Lovebites are one of the best metal bands in the world right now, but I'll still go with best. I say that of course knowing its very subjective. What can you do? I've seen them live twice and they're the most amazing performers I have ever seen, when looking at it from a craft standpoint. Long rambling comment. My only point is I think most, if not all, of us are fully aware its a subjective thing to say. We mean it, but we also know its subjective. I wouldn't expect your channel to be only Lovebites, of course, but I'll be here when you do react to them, and will most likely check out some of your other reactions as well. 🙂

This video is a bit superflous, but it's okay to just talk and read the comments. Here are some facts: - Nobody expects that you change the channel to a pure LOVEBITES channel! It's all your own choice! - LOVEBITES is still heavily underrated (Covid didn't help), but can compete with ANYONE out there, whether you accept it or not. - There are many reactors on KZbin, who have reacted to LOVEBITES. The approval rate is almost 100% - Last year, I've tried to count, how many reactions there are for "Holy War" alone (one of 60+ songs). I had to stop counting at 500 channels! So don't think, your channel is something special, LOVEBITES is! - LOVEBITES has a huge pool of self-penned songs (60+) plus 3 covers ("Eagle Fly Free"/Helloween, "Painkiller"/Judas Priest, "Love Bites (So Do I)"/Halestorm) plus instrumentals and side projects (or older stuff). The thing in common (and that's unique, I can say this about no other band or artist!): - All songs are at least very good, some of them masterpieces, no fillers, no real B-sides, no weak or even mediocre song. - Good reactions may receive at least 3000 views per video, you've now almost 8000 in 24 hours, that's a superb value, it's not a priority, but it's a nice additional thing. - General remark: It helps to include "LOVEBITES" and "" in the the title of a reaction! - Make your reactions for fun or for donations or whatever. There's no obligation to serve us, but if you do, we'll come!

@@JimNewstead Lovebites has exactly 60 songs in their catalog, not including instrumentals and, of course, covers. Here is a little background on the songwriting. In 2015, an all female Japanese metal band called Destrose came to an end. The bassist of Destrose was Miho and, after Destrose, she wanted to form a new all female metal band. She was heavily influenced by the NWOBHM and patterned her own playing on Steve Harris. The first person she contacted was Haruna, a drummer who left Destrose in 2014. She also brought in the guitarists Midori and Miyako (who went by Mi-Ya at the time). The only original member not to be handpicked by Miho was the vocalist Asami, who got the job via audition. The only member who had any extensive experience composing songs was Miyako but initially she didn't commit to being a permanent member (that finally changed in August, 2017). Because Miho, Haruna and Midori had limited experience composing, Miho, the producer or both decided to bring in Mao, a keyboardist/composer who had been in the power metal band Light Bringer. Mao was to assist Miho, Haruna, Midori and Asami in composing songs, while Miyako would compose alone. During the first 5 years of the band, they would release 44 songs. Twenty were composed by Miyako. Twenty-one were written by Mao (5), Miho and Mao (10), Asami and Mao (4), and Midori and Mao (2). The three outliers are a song written by Araken on the first album (never worked with Lovebites again, as far as I know), a song written by Haruna which she composed while with Destrose, and the great song Break the Wall which Miho wrote most of and then passed it on to Miyako to finish. During those 5 years the two band members with the greatest creative control were clearly Miyako and Miho. That band dynamic changed in August, 2021 when Miho left Lovebites, which resulted in the band going on hiatus. This was about the same time that Miyako became a new mother. After a much anticipated announcement, Lovebites began accepting video auditions for a new bassist in April and May, 2022. This was shortly before Asami became a new mother. In October, 2022, Fami became the new bassist of Lovebites. Since Miho's departure, Lovebites has released 16 songs. The first, Nameless Warrior, was credited to Asami, Mao, Midori, Miyako and Haruna. Of the remaining 15, Miyako was the sole composer on 5 song, while Mao was the sole composer on 4 songs. The Asami/Mao combination added 3 songs while another song was credited to Asami, Mao and Midori. What I find exciting is that 2 songs were cowritten by Asami and Miyako, both being fantastic songs - Stand and Deliver (Shoot'em Down) from last year's Judgement Day album and Where's Identity from the recent EP. Someone in the band needed to step up to fill the creative void left by Miho, and Asami is the one that has. Thunder Vengeance - music by Miho/Mao with lyrics by Miho Set the World on Fire - music by Miyako with lyrics by Asami Holy War - music by Mao with lyrics by Lovebites (original lineup)

Lovebites, Band Maid, The Warning, Nightwish: I've run into issues with certain elements of their fans before, as I have with fans of older bands like Led Zeppelin, Rush and Pink Floyd, for doubting their supremacy. It seems as though there are now sections of various fandoms who have become as slavishly worshipful as fans of any teen idol, and nothing is allowed to question or get in the way of their adoration. So if you are in, you have to be all in, nothing else will do. The problem is that it does stop being about just the music and becomes all about tribalism. As you say, Lovebites are perfectly competent recreators of the past, I can enjoy listening to them, but I can't compare them favourably to true originators in the genre.

I want you to understand a few things. The fact that this video has garnered so many views is because Lovebites has a huge worldwide fan base. On the other hand, I'd like to come back to the fact that some fans claim that Lovebites are the best band in the world right now in the metal sphere. Personally, I'm past that point. I say they're the best metal band of all time. That's just my personal opinion, but I can explain it. Visually, when I look at you, I think we're both pretty much from the same generation, those born in the late '60s and largely between 50 and 60 these days, if not older. So we grew up listening to rock, hard rock, heavy metal, the same bands that made this music legendary. When I listen to Lovebites, I find myself back in the musical atmosphere of my adolescence, but on a higher level. Bands like AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Mettalica, Megadeth and many others have become musical legends that still draw huge crowds today. To my ear, the 5 women of Lovebites are a cut above the bands of the past, in terms of musical , talent, technical skill and musical beauty. I've deduced this by listening to their entire discography, and by watching most of their concerts. In fact, I saw them live in Paris. This does not call into question the musical quality of any band, past or present. What qualifier should be given to a band that surpasses the legendary ones? All I'd like to say in conclusion is that the style of music I've loved most in my life is played at a higher level by Lovebites, which is a performance that no one else can match. And I think I'm not the only one who feels this way. The only thing this band lacks is the financial and material means to make themselves known to the mass of people who love heavy metal.
@taihavardАй бұрын
Yeah there is no such things as a greatest band of all time. You can pick a metric to measure a group by, and some of those metrics are objective. But which metric you choose is based on what you like in music, so it's selection is subjective. There are some bands who have more technical skill than others. If a band has 2 shredding guitarists, a drummer who can go for hours at speed, switch rhythms, keep almost perfect time etc, then obviously they are more technically skilled than a second band who have some basic strumming, a drummer who sticks to 4 4 basic beats etc BUT, you only care about that kind of technical skill if it leads to things you subjectively love in music, crazy solos, blast beats, prog, whatever it might be. If you absolutely love Reggae but metal gives you a headache instantly, you would never pick those kinds of technical skills as your metric. So whilst the metric itself is objective and measurable (at least in principle and sometimes in practice) it's selection is based on taste. So the entire argument just breaks down to assuming your own subjective taste is objectively correct, and then picking what metric you use to measure from there based on how well it achieves something to your taste. Some fans of some bands can be a bit full on. I adore LOVEBITES, they are the only band in the last 10 years I felt I HAD to go and see live! I saw them in London. Of all the bands I love, LOVEBITES has more songs in my playlist than any other band, and it's not even close. But I have still been chewed out by someone who couldn't handle that I don't always capitalise the bands name fully, that I suggest bands other than LOVEBITES. It's not most, or even a majority, but they are out there XD Music elitists creep me out a little. There seems to be something hinting at an Authoritarian streak in the idea that someone believes their demonstrably subjective taste is the measure of what's good for every one else, and those who don't share their taste are wrong. They are placing their taste as the central focus and measure of what is correct for 7 billion + humans. Kind of a little narcissism showing.
@SomethingToDo360Ай бұрын
“So the entire argument just breaks down to assuming your own subjective taste is objectively correct” No. People are not saying their taste (or selection of musical preferences) is objective in itself, but that technical aspects remain objective, regardless of a subjective preference for it. Here “best” or “greatest”, would be specific to a certain measurement.
@taihavardАй бұрын
@@SomethingToDo360 Unfortunately many absolute do mean what I am describing. I have run in to a fair few elitists in person, some who love Goth, some metal, and a few classic / jazz lovers, and many many people online across multiple genres, who are convinced and argue that X genre, and often X band within genre is culturally superior, that others genres take no skill, that those who disagree don't have a different taste but a lack of taste all together, and so on. When making the argument to them that I made I my comment, they will insist that there is such as a thing as good music in regard to how much you SHOULD enjoy it, and if you don't, you are wrong and need to learn to like the CORRECT music. I agree that there are those who use a shorthand of "best band in the world" to mean "my favourite" or "really good in this genre" etc. But often when you respond with "yeah I love them, but I really like lots of other bands as well" you will genuinely get responses like "you shouldn't be listening to those other bands" and so on. I even had someone get really angry I liked Band A. I explained that I also liked Band B, and they were stunned because they had just been arguing I had some type of objective taste issues, so to then find out another of my favourite bands was their favourite caused them to get pretty confused. They had a mini meltdown because they couldn't understand how I could like "objectively awful music" that means "you don't understand music", but at the same time the "cultured pinnacle" of music that they like was something I liked as well. It's not the majority of people. But a sizable minority seem to think like this.

You are correct of course that calling a band the "greatest", or even the "best" (without defining exactly what is meant by that word) really just means it is their personal favourite. This is something that I won't do. However, what I will do is is make the claim that in terms of *musicianship*, LOVEBITES are probably in the top three metal bands on the planet. So, this is an objective factual claim, not just a subjective opinion. My justification is as follows: For fairness, I'm considering only the common instruments used by metal bands (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards), so no obscure folk instruments. There are only three current metal bands (that I'm aware of) that could play the entire LOVEBITES catalogue live. Admittedly this would require the use of tracks, but as long as those tracks are recorded by band members, that is fine. The three bands that could play the entire LOVEBITES catalogue live are LOVEBITES, Dream Theater and Symphony-X. My factual claim is disprovable for anyone who wish to disagree. Simply show me another metal band that could play the LOVEBITES catalogue live, starting with the song "Swan Song with the Chopin introduction".

For example, do you know every metal band in the world, and enough about the ability of each male and female member, to even make this claim? I’m saying this, because the burden of proof is on the person who is making the claim. Like you would need to compare the musicianship of individual members to each other (members you would need to know of, in order to even compare them), and additionally consider what Lovebites can play of other bands as well (it’s a two way street; not just what other bands can play from Lovebites). It would be better to just claim that Lovebites has a higher musicianship than a specific other band (naming that other band), and then it becomes more comparable to people, at least to the people who know enough about both of the bands. Or just talking Japanese bands (or even just all-female ones) to a community that knows them specifically. Basically, narrowing it down first. Edit: BTW, I read something stating, that the total number of ‘active heavy metal bands’ is 81,207. If it is even close to that, it’s a bit much. 😆
@SomethingToDo360Ай бұрын
Additionally, how do you rate individual members, even if just compared to other female Japanese members? For example, I said in another thread, if we are just saying who we think are the top 2 female Japanese guitarists (ones currently in a band), in comparison to Lovebites members, it would go something like this for me: Miyako is a little better than Hazuki. Midori is a little better than Miyako. Li-sa-X is a little better than Midori. Hal-ca is a little better than Li-sa-X. This evaluation also doesn’t consider age at all. So my top 2 here would be Hal-ca and Li-sa-X, and not M&M. Then the difficulty here, is that all-female Japanese bands like Koiai, have other members besides Li-sa-X, like the drummer Kanade Sato, who utilizes much more variation than Haruna, like more changes in tempo and timing, syncopation, and greater complexity, while being very fast. Sure Haruna is fast, but her drumming appears more straightforward or rigid by contrast to the other. Like you can do side by side comparisons. I would even go as far as saying jazz drummers like Kanade Sato and Senri Kawaguchi, are better than even the more popular Junna (by just comparing drum solos between the three), so obviously, I wouldn’t give Haruna the win here either (understatement). My point is that even when narrowing things down a lot, it can still be difficult to back up a best claim, but at least easier to defend. Overall, it’s just better to narrow things down.

Nice honesty from you 👌 I totally agree with you on the "best band ever" thing... It's always the case with bands with a hardcore fanbase. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE their music, the band members on a personality point of view, everything about them, but I also LOVE other bands, and to me there's no point in wanting to rank everything, especially in art. I always skip the reaction channels who give a grade to the song they just listened to. Ok, 9.2 for this one, 8.7 for this other one... To me it's pointless, but seems to go with our era where all the TV shows are all about competitions, deciding who is better at what (and one of the main reasons why I stopped watching TV, it's so boring)

I don't understand what the point is. Does anyone mean that lovebites are the best band of all time? Ok, that they say it, what's the problem? I am a great fan of the lovebites, but I would never say it is the best band ever because I find it conceptually absurd. I have a certain age and a lot of music listened to, in order to say that currently the lovebites, in the metal field, are a great band. Full stop. My opinion. I do not understand the sense of making a public telling-off to underline the obvious: that is, that the channel is yours and you have the sacred right to choose the contents you want. If you want to react again to the lovebites I will please, because it is evident that you are an honest and competent reactor. Thanks for your job.

I watched this video and read the comments. I was not surprised by what you said today. That you will not be carried away by LOVEBITES I understood yesterday. When I watched your reaction to three songs of this band. It is normal that you will not pay attention to LOVEBITES anymore. But, I was very surprised that some people who claim to love LOVEBITES began to defend you. It surprised me because I did not understand .... from whom or from what are people who claim to love LOVEBITES very much defending you? No one attacked you for your reaction to the songs of LOVEBITES. 😊 If there was some small criticism in the comments, then it was done politely. Perhaps people who claim to love LOVEBITES are defending you ... from those fans who think that LOVEBITES is "the best metal band today"?! Or are they protecting you from the future possible disappointment (and indignation?) of LOVEBITES fans who subscribed to your channel but will no longer see your reactions to this band?! For four years, LOVEBITES have been #1 on my list of favorite bands. One of LOVEBITES's #1 guitarists has been on my list of favorite guitarists for four years now. But I won't be upset at all if you don't do reactions to LOVEBITES anymore. Honestly, I don't care at all. If you do a reaction to another LOVEBITES song, then maybe (?) I'll watch it. Or maybe I won't want to watch it.🤗 Because yesterday I realized that LOVEBITES didn't really interest you. This is your channel and you do what you want on it. If you're not interested in LOVEBITES (or any other band), then you have the right not to check them anymore. I am sure that most fans of LOVEBITES will not even notice that you no longer pay attention to their favorite band.😊 And in conclusion, one small clarification. In order to claim that LOVEBITES (or another band) did not bring anything new to metal, you need to check more songs. And preferably, listen carefully (and watch videos) to each song several times. But this is my opinion. You may have a different opinion. I will not recommend you other songs of this band. I am sure that you are not interested in this. I can only write (for example) that LOVEBITES combines classical music performed on the piano (F. Chopin, S. Rachmaninoff, N. Paganini, F. Liszt, etc.) with metal. For me, this is new. Although, perhaps, for you there is nothing new in this. Nothing personal. I just expressed my opinion after what I saw and read in the comments under your two videos.

The video you wrote about, from May 10, 2018: JINJER - 'Pisces', 205,484 views in 6 years and 5 months. For me that is just an excuse, because he has realized that this band (Lovebites) has great talent that would surpass the bands that he always liked. That's the real point. In addition, there are many reactors that reproduce many Lovebites reactions because they really like it and they are not hypocritical, I mentioned a NittPicc, she reacted to Lovebites and a few months later she went to his concert. Saying that you will react to another song maybe in a month, in that period you are waiting for fans to come to your channel asking for that song. And I don't really think you react to so many bands that are out there. Then you will also react to bands from Latin America, I suppose you have already reacted to all the bands that are in Mexico as well, even those from other languages, or you leave them aside. Friend, you turned out to be more hypocritical than many others. And what about showing your cameras to who cares? What matters here is whether you are going to continue reacting to the band and that's it, or because you think you have a lot of comments. Even worse if you say that as a channel you would not like to grow, then why do you have a channel? Your comment makes no sense.
