Thanks for the great content! Just wondering if working in Davinci requires an additional calibration. I work on a computer BenQ monitor that I just re-calibrated with a Display SL (updated X-rite) colorimeter after a few years of use. The new icc profile is now stored on the operating system. I set the monitor to Rec 709 and it is in Gamma 2.4. If I work in Davinci Resolve do you think I need to calibrate the monitor again using the workspace monitor calibration function? I came across a post indicating that Davinci Resolve seems to ignore icc profiles stored on operating systems. But I plan on using a serial node with color space transform that transforms input color spaces to Rec 709 so maybe any shift will be negligible.

Thanks so much for your message. As long as your monitor is properly calibrated you don't need to do any additional calibration when working with Resolve.

Hello Blake, do you use dynamic dimming in your Asus for HDR and SDR?
