FAQ STUFF HERE 1: LAND BATTLESHIPS. Yes I know they show up earlier on mercenary difficulty, be that is considered a non canon difficulty and should not be considered. Same reason I didn't mention the extra fighters in the crimson boss. 2: I missed a lot in the crimson fight I know. Honestly that could do with a video all to itself.

I think the best case for land battleships not being bosses is probably that they show up in the earliest missions on mercenary difficulty, way before their *debut* mission

I think the reason why the land battleships aren't classified as a boss fight is because if you play on mercenary difficulty, 4 or 6 of them appears in mission 4. But it is still weird since they are stronger than the airships.

If you thought the Crimson 1 fight was fun, turn on Double Time so you can fight him twice at the same time! Only problem is that the mission won’t end properly but hey, it’s a visual… experience like none other

3:30 btw there's a PS5 exclusive DLC that contains 6 missions (the DLC happens between missions 11 and 15, and is basically part of Cascadia following retreating fed planes out of the bering strait. the Cascadians then decide that they can potentially invade the federation mainland, and then go rogue when told to pull out of fed mainland). the final boss of these missions is a giant airship, which is basically if you mixed a 205 Class battleship and combined it with Crimson's PW-MK1, and then let a female version of Captain Torres (Ace Combat 7 DLC Boss) fly it

Remember my first time playing. Friend told me it was a super hard game. He was playing on normal. Decided that automatically going into hard couldn’t be that bad. I hate the french so much… the F-14 can’t turn hard enough to evade the turret. But crimson, that was something else. Ended with no missiles and just barely a gun. Likely the biggest gun kill I will ever get in a game.

This is an amazing video and also on my first play through of project wingman i managed to beat crimson squadron on my first try and it made me really happy to know there is alternative dialogue for beating them in the first encounter and making them run!

After completing the game and getting a plane with rail guns...yea I just use those against Crimson Squadron; if you're good enough you can take out almost the entire squadron at the end of Machine of the Mantle. thing I actually really like about PW versus all the Ace Combat games I have ever played is the fact I can flick on Glass Cannon, Budget Cuts, Camouflage...and Ace Training for the difficulty, an turn PW into DCS lite. Doing that can make some missions unwinnable however due to lack of ammo

Fun fact with crimson squadron, its hard as hell but you can beat them and make them fly off. you just need to basically take out one of there planes. and then a new dialog comes up were they run away from you,

2:25 you can chase it with the frogfoot autocanon and a auto clicker also double spawn modifier and mercenary dif boses are way more different 7:05 pretty sure you get to fight 2 of em in the first wild boar mission so its not really a boss just a heavy enemy

I genuinely like this game way more than ac7 lol,I felt like 7 was way too restrictive compared to older games. They used to be here's bunch of enemies,go murder them,whilst ac7 feels like almost each mission is an annoying gimmick you're never going to see again :(

I feel like Ace Combat 7 gets too much hate honestly. I actually like how each mission is different from each other. I like that the weather actually affects your aircraft so it's not only just enemies that you have to worry about.
