Let's talk about Schmincke Haze brown

I am not sure if it's true for this but I think it's been theorized they use Maroon Brown's PBr7 in the supergranulating range. I've not tried to mix a hue with Maroon Brown and Lunar Black though to see.

maroon brown is NBr8-Van Dyke Brown isn't it?

@@geckonia My understanding was it was incorrectly labeled as an NBr but is actually a PBr7 but of course I could be mistaken.

You can get the Haze set in the US at St. Louis Art Supply. I haven’t played with it much but the colors are beautiful to me.

I have the haze and the glacier sets. I’m thinking to add a few other individual colours to round out the colours as I won’t be able to buy all the sets and I don’t have any other schmincke paints.

Oh you can mix a lot of the Schmincke colours on your own. Not exact copy but close.
