I discovered Screeching Weasel at a record store on the boardwalk in OC, NJ. It was the early 90s and I was a teenager. I saw "My brain hurts" in the cd bin and I asked the employee to play it. I loved it and bought it and they became one of my favorite bands. Also, that Born Against split is unique because both bands wrote the songs for each other to play.

Yep! My Brain Hurts and the split with BA are solid releases all round. I love all Weasel records though. Freakin’ amazing bands! Born Against video coming real soon!!!

I found the Suzanne is getting married art cover three weeks ago for $12 in Salt Lake City, Utah of all places. Never even seen a Screeching Weasel single out in the wild before.

I must have traded most of my SW 7"'s over the years because I used to have most of those and I'm pretty sure I don't have them anymore. I could never get into their "newer" records starting with "Bark Like A Dog" but I really like the newest record.

I am probably a one-eyed fan when it comes to the music of SW. I really do love it all. The newer stuff still blows my mind whenever I hear it. I also really loved that solo album Ben did called These Ones Are Bitter which is just good all the way through. SLUDGEWORTH and the many different Dan Vapid projects are all super awesome too!!!
