It's set in Italy's North right? When I read "Winter Warrior," my thoughts went to the Eastern Front, or even the Soviet-Finish war which is literally known as the "Winter War." I should also point out that the deadliest known sniper in history is Simo Hayha, who shot 500 Soviet soldiers in that war. It's an interesting enough idea, because there really hasn't been many winter levels in Sniper Elite.

Thats exactly what i expected. The sniper elite vr series could have been a great opportunity to explore different snipers and their stories but instead we are going back to the partisan from SEVR1...

I don’t have VR and didn’t even know until this trailer there was already Sniper Elite VR. I just want more DLC and Sniper Elite 6, and getting the bugs in SE5 fixed.

I am more curious if the exclusivity is time limited. Hitman 3 VR mode was Playstation exclusive for a year but didn't mention it was coming to PC until like 10 months later.

I had PSVR1 and didn’t bother with the first game, it looked really poor, i have a PSVR2 and if this was available on that i probably still wouldn’t but it, it looks like a ps3 game, and campaign is only a couple of hours. Hopefully SE6 has a dedicated VR mode (let’s face it, all new FPS should have a desicated VR mode). Even playing the older SE games in stereoscopic 3D was decent and VR absolutely MUST be an option on SE6

So you bought a PSVR to play SE VR... My question is: why? Why buy a headset that is outdated in 2021? Even if Winter Warrior wasn't an exclusive, it wouldn't be released on the 7-year-old PSVR, but on its successor, so you'd still have to buy a new hmd...

Money talks. Rebellion made their money before the game was even released. It is just DLC for the old game. It probably took a few months to make. I doubt Rebellion cares about sales for this as they were paid to make it and Meta will take at least 30% of the earnings, possibly more (or all of it) as they paid for development.

To be fair the framework for this game is already built for the original game, so if this sequel is simply "more of the same" then production costs would likely be less anyway. Its a bargain really. More Sniper Elite VR with extra modes for a tenner. If only we already owned a Quest.

What do I think BB.. let me tell you, what a load of crap - and what was that song abba released in 1976 oh yes.. "Money, Money, Money" and your right someone has lob over a sh*t load for Reb to get this one out - christmas has comes early for some, But Never mind the bugs still in SE5 (what Reb would call "none-game-breakers") my ass! And to add insult to injury each and evereyone of us who plays MP WAS forced to switch on Easy Anti-Cheat but it still lets pepole have god mode switched on. But never mind it's been over a year now lets just brush SE5 under the carpet, we have SE VR Winter Warror to play.

Sorry ps5 fanboys. I sold ps5 and purchased quest 3 and I am not going back. I also have Xbox series s and it serves its purpose just fine. I just play triple A games anyway. For the longest time ps5 was unavailable and I find that it’s no better than series S. Which isn’t saying much. Ps5 needs to come out with cheaper system. All in all, I am enjoying vr exercise on Supernatural and I am going to enjoy sniper vr. Enjoy your Spider-Man. My kid just finished it in 2 days and he is replying it over and over. I do have to admit Xbox don’t got any exclusive that’s any good. But, I don’t play any exclusive games much anyway. I was considering psvr2 but with all the wires and extra $500 just let me down with no web browser in psvr is just stupid programming . Quest 3 with no wires got me and new snap dragon chip and pass through capabilities are a must. AR games will be coming up and better vr games will come out. I am set for several years.

Oh boy.... where do i start with this one? i don't even think i even WANT to put into words what i think of this... purely based on what i was taught when growing up "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all". But..... at the same time i keep seeing one of my favorite game developers clearly going in the wrong direction.. not once.... not twice... but MULTIPLE times. Serioulsly Rebellion!! Who thought it to be a good idea to exclude a whole comunity just so you could put out a "dlc" to your previous VR endeavor AND then make it an EXLUSIVE to Meta?!? I swear... Rebellion needs to hire Brutal, because Brutal would make damn sure bullshit like this would have a hard time passing by without scrutiny..
