I can't believe I have watched most of your videos. They are so enjoyable and the beginning of each video showing the city is a nice touch.

Thank you! Sometimes we get tired but deep inside we know we love this industry. I started in 2008 and in 2010 I stopped for two years then decided to get back in the print game and been doing it ever since. Awesome comment.

Perfect for me... Perfect for today!! Thanks for the breakdown. Time to order a squeegee...
@tainoink5 жыл бұрын
I had to learn the hard way. I used to leave them with ink for days and when a friend of mine told me that the squeegee has to have sharp edges and the moment it starts feeling round to replace them and not to leave them with ink. Now they last me longer than before.

Keep the videos up. Try some aluminum squgees. U wont regret it. I semi switched from aluminum handle vs wood.
@tainoink5 жыл бұрын
I have one. They say that is good for your hands because of how light it is.
@leonardo290985 жыл бұрын
@@tainoink they are light and give a cleaner stroke. Easy to clean and blades are replaceable. Plus you can use 4 sides of the squgees. And never buy a handle again. Next one I want to try is the ez squgee and roller squgee
@tainoink5 жыл бұрын
Wow. I didn't think of that. That you could use four sides of the squeegee. 👍

I know sand paper 80 grit glued to flat table or floor might work machine shop clean edge. Lower sandpaper number more ruff. You got 36 to 1000 to choose from.

Parts washer - recirculating fluid. I know - not the best solvent for squeegees (allegedly) but cleanup is a breeze.

I have the same from ryonet so we can't just remove the blade huh? I'm thinking on moving to the silver squeegees 🤔 i have a a lot of them too idk man .
@tainoink5 жыл бұрын
I have a silver squeegee but I will need time to get used to it. I'm so hooked with the wood squeegees that I don't even use it. But We have to move to it soon. You end up saving more money using the silver squeegee.

I was told that is good to a certain point and sometimes it don't come out straight. I seen Cam from the print life make one and I might just give it a try. Thank you.

I never saw green rubber squeegee. I know they typically color match to durometer. My boss has used the same ones for 10+ years. If I ask for new rubber I get a look like I just burned a client's shirts.
