I like the idea of the EZGrip, and I got one, but the rubber kept trying to come out of the holder. I thought about gluing it in. His looks like it has screws in it? Mine didnt.

Ezgrip has a new model that has a big square in the middle of the squeegee that you can flood with now! I love these squeegees they take all the pressure off of your elbows and wrists and get a great print, too those people having problems with the rubber falling out make sure the rubber is FIRMLY pushed in all the way im not sure why everyone is having this problem as I have to fight to get mine to go in all the way and they're extremely hard to get out

I am a push stroke guy due to my arthritis. I tried this squeegee with push stroke only but I just don't see that it will be any better on pull stroke

I had to convert to the push stroke because of wrist pains, I wonder if these would work? I'd probably cut those hooks off though, we'll see. Thanks
@TheEZGripcom7 жыл бұрын
Hi Jon, I personally use the push stroke method, it pushes so easy, it's almost like cheating. The rods at the end of the handles are the core to our self standing feature. They act as support braces that stop costly ink messes due to the squeegee accidently falling into the ink. Actually one lays TheEZGrip on the screen, not against the far end of the screen's frame, it's faster this way and keeps ink only where you need it, quicker cleanup time.

what about the material resistance using more hard inks, it look like a little weak since it's plastic

I have to try one out, my texsource rep keeps trying to sell me these and I haven't given in! Have you tried the Ergoforce squeege?
@ThePrintLife7 жыл бұрын
not that particular model but I have used those aluminum clam shell style squeegees before. I would say they are to similar to other squeegees not really game changing. That easy grip is something special though.

To buy an EZGrip, ask your current screen print supplier if they sell TheEZGrip, if not, ask them why not. Or go to my website TheEZGrip.com for a list of our dealers. We're in over 40 locations nationwide.

my friend Why can't you be honest So you tell people that you screwed seven screws into the squeegee holder so that your squeegee rubber wouldn't fall out!?

Any issues with twisting while pulling? the EZ grip seems a bit on the thin side but it does look more natural than breaking yer wrists with a wood squeegee
@ThePrintLife7 жыл бұрын
I didn't do a full production run but I don't think the twisting would be a problem.
@TheEZGripcom7 жыл бұрын
To use TheEZGrip as intended, one applies equal force with both hands simultaneously whether you push or pull, so there's no issue of the tool twisting. TheEZGrip is thin to keep it light weight, 7 oz., that's lighter than wood or aluminum. It's made from 100% nylon so it's super strong and repeals ink - EZ to clean, 1000% better than cleaning the old wood handle, there's no comparison .
@kimsedric44705 жыл бұрын
this device has weakness. sounds goods but not really. To all the people that have manual squeeges. On yours squeege, you will see that there is screws every 2" or so. As you see on the video, this squeeges only has rubber and yellow case. When I was using this squeege on thick Low Bleed white ink, the rubber got stuck on the ink and came off. And every time it was coming out more. Bad product. Unless, they can make sure that rubber does not come off from yellow casing, I cannot recommend anyone to spend money on this item. I am a printer and used this product. I am laying down logically my case and stop deleting my post to avoid your product weakness. Make it better

We like it! We rotate between the traditional squeegee and this ez grip. For long runs it so much better.

I disagree...i have both and u juat dont get the touch from the ezgrip that allows for a good floodfill and the stiff rubber doesn't allow the ink to spread unless you press down with considerable force...the regular one allows hand movement and a thinner piece of rubber that allows certain freedoms while printing....im not saying that the ezgrip is a loser...im just saying its better at some things bit not others...and that would be determined through the use of hundreds of prints...not 2....u cant declare a winner after 2 shirts bro...i dont care how long u been printing...after so long printing...im sure anyone would be happy to have a new tool and a different motion

So those only come in 13"? ...lame.
@ThePrintLife7 жыл бұрын
I think they will start making more lengths if people start buying them.
@TheEZGripcom7 жыл бұрын
Good question, TheEZGrip comes in 13" only, although it takes just seconds to change a blade and you can use any size blade from 6" to 14". The exclusive friction grip system holds the blade tight without screws or bolts, no drilling thru the blade, utilize all 4 edges. For jobs wider than 14", it's best to use the old wood handle, but since most jobs are less, TheEZGrip is good for about 80 to 90% of the work for the average print shop.
