The X-Men have no allies because they are the oppressed minority of the Marvel universe. SHIELD distrusts them. Even Captain America won't step in to assist and, they understand that. Wolverine(both of them) are products of abuse by NATO's military industrial complex. It's messed up, bit it's true to reality. There's a wonderful moment in Whedon's run where they deal with a monster in downtown new york and Mister Fantastic says that it's just an attempt to get some good publicity for mutants.

@Bloodtopaz That ain't the point, there been here for years irl and cannon wise, saved the world multiple times both publicly and in secret. AND THE WORLD STILL HATES MUTANTS, it doesn't matter if another hero team respects them if no one else does. At least a support group or something 🤦‍♂️

@@decidueyezealot8611 No one has to except you, no one has to cheer you on when you do good or believe to do good in the world. IRL or in the comics, no one has to give you a high five or pat on the head when you do something good. You do good for some reward? No, you do good for the sake of it or it's a selfish action. It's very clear that the X-men save the world, not for all of us but for all of mutants instead. Mutants are better than humans because they were born better, they say it all the time in the comics. You see nothing wrong with that I bet. I see that as the flaw and the real reason mutants are the enemy of humanity, mutants hate humans because they fear them and they look in the mirror everyday telling themselves their "gifts" is what makes them better but than go out and make the world a better place for themselves and not all life. This is why the Avenegers will always be better than the X-men. Look at what's happening right now in the X-men comics when the mutants win. You think it would be different if they weren't Sinister clones? They have their personalities still, this is a look at what happens when the X-men and mutants gain dominance.

Kwanon (spelling?? I haven't collected comics in over 20 years) is now going by "Psylocke" because Psylocke is now Captain Britain (what's the original Capt. I don’t know why but since the acquisition of the Aliens franchise, I’ve been hoping for the acid dripping savages to show up in Marvel to show the Brood how real invasive species invade. I doubt it but…. They wouldn’t stand a chance.

I think it was in Captain Marvel Vol. 10 issue #4 from (2019). I personally don't like that upgrade to her powers. I like it better when Rogue has to touch someone to use her powers.

Great issue, feels like X-Men is picking up again. Not big on the code name “Talon” but she does have great chemistry with Synch, I enjoyed seeing them triage Corsair. Could have done with few more panels of Iceman/Firestar cutting loose against the Brood. Speaking of Brood, I wish we would have seen more of Broo actually ruling them *before* this storyline. It would have given us more context, not only that, but you would think having a species like Brood on the sides of the mutants would be great plot line to exploit.
