Something that this video brought up, the pay wall lock to discovering how to actually play the game-I remember when I started I could only buy 3 start decks (Nova, Liberator and Eradicator...this was during G btw) and were stuck with those for 2 years before getting to edit them, partly because I valued having more decks over better decks so I bought more start decks but also because the decks were fun to play and didn't bother me to keep them the same, the only "annoying" thing being the one of ace cards like Gold Rutile and Blaster Blade Liberator. What I'm saying is if I had been stuck with the vanilla decks back then I probably would've quit because it would've been boring and I wouldn't have learned more combos or had possible new plays to look forward to. Why they didn't just keep the Lianorn, Drajeweled, Youthberk formula is beyond me because while yes I was also critical with the whole "no main grade 3 for you" imo that's the best way I've seen them do to get new players involved and they had some use in budget builds but screw it, full deck of vanilla's cause why not

I love this flawed logic about "the start decks are meant for new players" when no one, in their right mind, would buy a actual pointless product when Bandai, Pokémon, etc, are making actual usable starting product for cheap. Little side note, i still can't believe Bushi made the thing that would attract a new player, pointless, TWICE. One, for being 99% vanilla and two, for the bosses, the only cards with skills, being just generic filler that will never be used in actual matches. Again, this is a pointless product.

It's a rip off for players in general for CFV as cheaper to produce the tutorial deck products as new start decks to profit more
