I would love to see Toronto play in a Logo-less blue jersey, and not call it 'blueshirts' (just let the fans call it that). Even use just the capital T if they were confident they could do so legally. It would have been a good 3rd for the century mark, but sadly that was missed.

The Arenas withdrew from the league that's why the 1919-20 St. Pats are an expansion team just like the 1925-26 New York Americans are an expansion team even thought it was basically the Hamilton Tigers relocating to New York. In both cases the new owners only bought the players not the team.

Does there have to be a reason for the hate? Or is it just as likely that a few people had legitimate issues with him, and crowd mentality had everyone else jump in behind them despite having no real grievance? I can't imagine Livingstone doing that many people wrong. Seems much more likely that he was more of a punching bag for the league rather than someone who caused real problems. A few people saying bad shit about you can be very convincing if you want are never given a chance to counter it. Diplomacy itself can be a weapon.
