@@porgchassle2266 Bro it’s not just the layout (maybe) or anything like that, It’s the music, and I know you probably don’t like the theme but lots of people including me love the idea of going across space driving on the moon, driving around Saturn, and people love the idea of that. The music is like one of the best things people love about 3DS rainbow road because that music can inspire people. (at least that is what it does for me) That is why people LOVE 3DS rainbow road. (3DS rainbow road is also my favorite)

It does make sense (in hindsight) that Maple Treeway was moved up. In the music leak, it was the only retro course past wave 3 that had music, showing that they were more finished with this track than was originally intended.

I have a theory that they wanted to do Waluigi Stadium first, but they saw that people probably liked Wario Colosseum more, so they changed their mind, but they needed more dev time for Wario Colosseum. I might be totally wrong though.

I noticed after making this video that there *was* a half-pipe in Maple Treeway, but that it was just really hard to find. I've cut the part of the video where I said otherwise, for that reason. I can't believe I also forgot to talk about the Whomps in Berlin Byways, so I'll do it here lol. Safe to say, I was surprised that you're able to trick off of them, then again this is their first appearence in a mainline Mario game and they take up a big part of the road so I should not be surprised lol. Either way, it still doesn't make Berlin Byways unique enough to be in the Moon Cup in my opinion

I don’t thing the prefix leak is totally nullified per say, since all the tracks that were supposed to appear here (accounting for the recent maple treeway / waluigi stadium swap leak) ended up in the wave, even if they are slightly rearranged. It’s quite easy to conclude that the same tracks are going to appear, but the order of said tracks might be rearranged a bit in the future (hopefully to help balance the bloat of wii and tour tracks in wave 6).

Maple Treeway has half pipes. Look at the beginning footage when you pass the Wiggler. You can see a half pipe with item boxes on it in the background.

The prefix datamine still is right in the amount of courses per console, they just changed the order of some tracks The change was leaked last month and was backed up by the dataniners.

The music leak and prefix leak are not completely disregarded. In this case, I think they are swapping the order of the tracks. In my opinion, the reason they swapped in Wii Maple Treeway is it is fall themed track, and with this wave's release date, tried to make it fit. If you are going to redo the predictions, it would be more on which ones will make sense thematically and on when the wave is gonna be released.

Ever since the music leak, I knew 3DS Rainbow Road would look the best, and Alpine Pass would look the worst. This is due to how the texturing works for the Booster Course Pass. Every track in Waves 1 and 2 had very nice, detailed road textures, as well as a really appealing skybox. The worst part of the tracks were the grass, cliffs, and trees. 3DS Rainbow Road is pretty much ALL Road Texture and skybox. So it was obvious to me that it would look great. I was a little worried that the background planets would look plasticky, but since most of them have unique textures, I guess that drove them to try a bit harder than usual. Meanwhile, Alpine Pass's aesthetics are dominated by cliffs, grass, and trees. Even though I expected it to look terrible, I wish they would've at least changed the color palette to match the MK7 version better. Alpine Pass having the same colored cliffsides as normal tracks like Toad Circuit and Shroom Ridge is very disappointing and makes it feel much less unique. Really hope they DO change the colors of Koopa Cape if it gets into BCP.

Besides there being no GCN courses after whole 3 Waves which hurts me even more because i'm a sucker for Double Dash tracks, i'm looking forward to this Wave! I'm glad that we're out of the Mushroom/GreenShell Cup territory so we're getting more unique tracks, hopefully the next waves will have some fan favorite GCN tracks coming back. Side note: i have a feeling in wave 4 they’ll start bringing less difficult/unique tracks to make it fit with traditional cup difficulty/atmosphere progression, i hope not because we could get wave 1 all over again but maybe they’ll add cooler easygoing tracks in wave 4 hopefully.

I'm glad that Rock rock mountain is coming in wave 3, but disappointed that neither mushroom bridge or mushroom city is in it, so I hope either mushroom bridge or mushroom city would appear in the next wave

I’m looking forward to that remade prediction. I think the decision to have Peach Gardens in the Moon a cup is bizarre. Looking at the tracks themselves, Boo Lake seems like a much better fit, making the Rock Cup a bit more chill and the Moon Cup a bit more intense. But, who knows!

Aside from Rock Rock Mountain's graphical quality (and perhaps Rainbow Road's layout being derived from Tour, which de-intensified some of the turns, although it's hard to tell from the trailers), I have absolutely no problems with this Wave at all. Easily the best so far in my book. This is the first Wave to be entirely new to me; I haven't played any of these original games (aside from a few minutes on the Wii), although I have seen plenty of footage and gotten an idea of which ones will be bangers. In particular, I've been hyping up Merry Mountain for myself since I first laid eyes on it, and it's looking like it's going to live up to that. So overall, from the footage I've seen, the Moon Cup may well be my new all-time favourite Cup as it looks to have three S-tier courses (as well as Peach Gardens) and I couldn't be happier with the Wave on the whole.

I can't wait for boo lake, mapple tree way, rainbow road, peach gardens and rock rock mountain (ik last one is not a popular opinion, and talking about unpopular opinions I think that rock rock mountain is better with it's tour look) I also anticipate merry mountain, it simply looks fun, and with a good theming too so basically all tracks exept city tracks (in my opinion city tracks all feel the same)

1) the bridge in maple treeway hasn’t been there since it’s first incarnation. Two out of three of its appearances have not included it, so it’s safe to assume it will never return. 2) some have pointed out that there are item boxes and coins visible in the air over the places that should normally contain the halfipes in maple treeway. This seems to indicate that the half pipes ARE on maple treeway, and for some reason are not enabled/visible in that one specific trailer shot that you pointed out.

I've never played Tour before, but the only part about Berlin Byways that I'm not looking forward to, are the Whomps. I love their inclusion, and their use as parts of the Berlin Wall remnants, I think that's clever. But I can't tell if that's a trick, or a wipeout at 8:41. If it's a trick, ugh. If it's a wipeout, then it's weird that it makes you go so high, but I'll take it. Personally, I'd just make them act as walls if you run into them.

Really hyped for this wave, much better than wave 1 and 2 track and quality wise. Sure waves 1 and 2 do have some better tracks than all of wave 3, except Rainbow Road, (Ninja Hideaway to name one) wave 3 literally has zero bad tracks while wave 1 has Toad Circiut and the overly changed Sky Garden (og and DS are far superior) and wave 2 had Sky-High Sundae and Mario Circuit 3 P.S 4:23 mushroom gorge looks good, better than MC3 honestly.
