You've got that radiator in upside down... probably why you are getting a little more noise than you expected,. Bubbles can still get pulled down with those pipes up near the air pocket. Tubes at the bottom people, come on.... you are supposed to at least pretend you know what you're doing :)

Sadly, this is the only way I can mount my CPU's AiO in my Fractal case. It's a long-ish case (Pop Air XL) so the rad sits pretty far from the board (no space for a 360 up top) and the GPU will get in the way of the hoses if I mount the radiator hoses-down. So far (about 8 months in) it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Its basically this or the FE for me, have a 4090 msi liquid and its been flawless for me (apart from some coil whine but thats kind of just a lottery), love that they put the tube exits on the end this time instead of out the side.

Something I noticed that you were showing the RTX 5090 on an Gen4 riser inside that Hyte Y60 case in vertical configuration. Have you properly tested the Card without any riser for those benchmarks like it was on the test bed because you've said that everything was tested inside the case? Using an Gen4 riser costs 2-5% performance loss which will obviously invalidate the testing results. Cheers!

Why make them? FE cards will win in small builds, so might as well make a quieter and cooler card with a large chassis now that Nvidia FEs are solidly going for a niche. Most of the people buying a 5090 will already have a big case.

i wish we could just buy an PCB card gpu WITHOUT the traditional standard aircoolers on them, And then just choose an manufacturer for waterblocks ourselfs, I got into watercooling last year with an Mo-Ra3 420 pro, and im super excited about external cooling these days, those AIO just don't cut it for me anymore with their small amount of radiators...

There is not a huge risk. AIO waterblocks have been around for a long time now, and they know how to make them. AIO waterblocks would not still be selling a lot if they had a reputation of failing.

I've been using AiOs since the days of Haswell and never had any of them leak. In fact, I just threw away the very first AiO I ever bought (puny Corsair H60) and that thing hadn't leaked when I took it out of the old PC after 8 years or so. There was even quite a lot of liquid still left in there (despite evaporation) from the sound of it.

How is overclocking hard? GPU Tweak or MSI Afterburner... slide voltage up, increment the core and memory speeds, tone down until you stop seeing artifacts or crashes.

I'd be leery of dropping bank on a gpu like this. I've seen to many aio's fail and if this where to fail outside of warranty you'd be screwed as it would basically brick it rendering it unusable without cooking it. However I'd be all in for one with just a waterblock to add to my custom loop like the Gigabyte Aorus X Waterforce.

Is it possible to mount the GPU radiator with the fans on the bottom of that Y60 or Y70 case? I currently am getting the Y70 and would like to know if it's possible for the radiator to be mounted to the bottom, the top is already reserved for my cpus liquid cooling, the side and back are case cooling fans

You would have the pump above the reservoir, not a good configuration for an AIO Do some research and make your own evaluation
