How would you structure a report???

Hey, wanted to know which firms you received offers from if that is okay and which firm you will be doing your training contract at.
@simranjeetkmann3 жыл бұрын
Not sure whether I can say the names out loud on KZbin, but if you follow my Instagram or LinkedIn, you can gain an idea of my experiences / vac schemes I completed. Generally though, I received offers from two transatlantic firms (one of which is top 20 in the UK) and one City law firm based in London. I decided to go with the transatlantic firm that's top 20 :)

Hi! Really useful video. Do you have any tips for a written assessment which involves writing a blog post for the firm? Thanks!
@simranjeetkmann3 жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful! I would recommend looking at the firm's website and seeing how they do their blog posts currently; you could adopt a similar structure for your blog post too to show the firm you have done your homework. You could also adopt a structure where there is a summary or a quote taken from the rest of the blog at the start. Hope this helps!

You should do a video about questions to ask the recruiter (for your assessment centre playlist)
@simranjeetkmann3 жыл бұрын
I've released a resource full of 30+ questions to ask Grad Rec, Trainees or Partners. Please let me know if you would like a copy of this - can email it to you or send it via LinkedIn. Also happy to do another video on this too - good suggestion!

@@simranjeetkmann Hi, thank you so much for this wonderful video. I was wondering if I could trouble you for a copy of the questions?

@@izzy-ky9yz no worries at all - yes of course, ask away either in the comments or by dropping me a message on LinkedIn or Instagram :)

Did you have to hand-write the letter or type it?
@simranjeetkmann3 жыл бұрын
Most of the time in the Assessment Centre, it's a hand-written letter. However, with this new virtual world we are in, you could be expected to type instead :)

How would you think the written task be assessed over virtually?
@simranjeetkmann3 жыл бұрын
Not too sure about this from personal experience, as I didn't do these exercises virtually. But I would like to think you are assessed in the same way as you would if you were to do it in person - so testing the quality of your writing, how long you take to answer the tasks, your ability to work under pressure etc.
