The problem with all the dramas is how it’s always ‘scripted’ in a sense of being able to predict it during a certain period: dry patch or end of patch. It’s indeed content for the community. As for me, I still play the big 4 gachas or other genre of games. So I have my personal content I can cycle through, while drama is legitimately like a live action show entertainment.

I feel like outside of Tectone's clique (no offense), the Wuthering Waves community is really happy and chill. Rexlent, GambaAJ, Jordinkun, GlaiveKiyo and so much more people that I can't remember. It's a really chill community. Most of Tectone's clique deliver negative perceptions of people that do not play Wuthering Waves (Twitter, r/gachagaming, etc.) either for engagement or journalism.

So... - content creators stirr up drama between each other. - they generate community interaction and it does in fact generate a spike in views. - content creators realize this could be the new M.E.T.A. but not long term. - proceeds to milk/farm the concept making it the new trend (A.K.A. M.E.T.A.) - it starts to get (to the majority) over saturated, bland, boring and the community points it out. - it in fact starts to drop as a trend due to regurgitation but also due to the creation of unhealthy and unregulated ecosystem. - content creators start to clap back claiming the community is toxic. - the community that's not toxic claps back that they're also all in one box, (going an eye for an eye) and claim majority of content creators are all the same chasing the trends. - this makes a new trend that falls into "drama" but it's actually two sub categories in the main category, (Gacha space) beefing with each other. - things get out of hand and content creators start admitting they "spiced" things up, but there's nothing wrong with it. - they start claiming that drama is a part and it doesn't mean it's negative, also claiming not all was in fact drama rather "open discussion" - the community that wasn't toxic that clapped back due to misrepresentation, claim they've been saying this all this time. - both community and content creators agree that in fact most "drama" was 'nothing burgers' . OBSERVATIONS: - absolutely dilute the inception of the whole saga, which was the root cause of the general issue. - extreme use of the Droste effect in a inspirational sense, due to the nature of Droste effect. - unintentionally escalate the situation (questionable/arguable) - raise awareness of the situation, and proceed to act as the peacekeepers. - draw the conclusion that in fact one side is to blame, and begins to restart the process with a different perspective. Moral of the story: "Wisdom is knowing what to do next. Skill is knowing how to do it. Virtue is doing it." Explanation: The creator is the ultimate winner, due to the immense power the creator withholds which is at core knowledge. The less knowledge one has, the harder to go against one that has knowledge. ☕ *Edit* ***VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO CLARIFY THE WORD 'CREATOR' HERE*** I don't mean creator as content creator rather in the sense of who created a specific scenario.

8:00 No that's not how the algorythm works. i never watch any genshin videos, punishing grey ravens or aether grazer since those games are bad in my opinion. i only watch some news regarding wuthering waves but i still get consistently recommendet videos about these 3 games because the algorythm thinks i want to see this, i don't. No matter how many times i press don't show more/block channel it will always come back withing 1 week. sometimes even the exact same video. I do not care for any drama in gacha games since i don't consider myself part of the community anyway. Still those videos pop up and infest my recommendations.

If you're using PC, when your let pointer hover then stay for few sec on thumbnail, it get autoplayed and it also consider as you viewed it and it'll be registered to your history. If it's on mobile, when you're scrolling through, some video might be autoplayed, that also considered as viewed on your history. Part of it, I think that's because of genre that's attached to Wuwa. It shared a lot of genre with Genshin, it's from same company as PGR, Aether Gazer also an action game. All of them is gacha games. People who play WuWa most likely had tried these other games. You might also accidentally give view to "drama" for few seconds from different source. Not necessarily from game. Then it will registered on your history as well. And the algorythm will pick that up.

I dont know... its 1 thing if we are taking all reaction content and slamming it with al the drama but thats not it, I think you took this in a too personal perspective instead of looking at the drama that this space went through. take the recent Gachasmack pokke situation (note this is NOT the most egregious but just the most recent i can think of rn) that thankfully just died quickly instead of going back to back for a few weeks. there is a difference to disagreeing and starting a conversation against someones perspective and pausing the video before someone finishes making their point because you are fishing for what to criticize and put them down on, unfortunately the format alot more creators use to structure reaction content in order for it to be transformative comes at the detriment of not giving a fair and honest critique at points where its due. Some of the drama is warranted, like the Iyo situation in a vacuum its not but when you see the twitter comments he made the community response is warranted somewhat and when u see his comment section his own reaction is warranted somewhat, im not bothered particulary by that kind of drama and im fine just tuning out when Ivehad enough. However when there is little drama to be had you will see CCs reach harder than a golden fishing rod to start some shit and EVERYONE covers it as if it really required EVERYONE'S take on a nothing burger of a bad take and thats where you all lose me personally. but drama is drama, nobody can say its not competitively easier to grow a channel based off it if its in abundance because if that were the case reality TV on cable when we have all these streaming services would have or be on the verge of shutting down by now. I would also like to add this doesnt come solely from CCs, as the CCs gravitate to this so does the community and vice versa both feed each other down this path in my honest opinion. like when Legionz was dropping ZZZ and gave his valid PERSONAL reasons for doing so, it was a very opinion driven video and nothing was stated as a matter of fact TLDR he was bored and he is busy. However the community will react exccessively over this, then hop on ur twitch channel 1st time chatter spamming for the 1st time in they life for you to react to this shit and boom you react to nothing THEN original CC gets mad at reacting to a react he didnt care for cos HIS chat had same ppl spamming to react to ur react and presto..... drama straight from fucking Narnia it's tedious watching this happen in many different ways but same basic framework.

@Yuria_en5 ай бұрын
It's one thing to have critiques on the game, but it's another thing when the drama itself doesn't even involve the game itself and takes a back seat in the conversation and the content creator themselves becomes the topic themselves is where I think the problem occurs. The whole thing with Iyo started with him doing a Wuwa vs ZZZ (which is fine), but once he pulled the honored one moment is where any and all conversation stop regarding the game itself. Most if not all reactions that happened afterward was regarding his hot take and Wuwa was just a backdrop in the conversation at that point. I think the most "healthy" drama that came so far was the 44111 and 43311 conversation because it was a clash of what of should be considered the best, people coming from all sides giving their own insight data, charts, math in order to answer the question. I don't think you should be included or feel offended because even if you do reactions, you're not doing it out of malice, you're not bringing other people down you are giving your own insights you're not trying to take them out of context or bring them down for it. You're being neutral, while still giving them some pushback on their ideas.
@TopTOBiiiii5 ай бұрын
I think the drama of a topic that is outside the game shouldn't be considered that game or that game's community's fault. The Iyo drama, for example like u said, started from wuwa and zzz but it's not wuwa or zzz community drama. Everything regarding it was about Iyo's actions
