Highly recommend the Super cool. With NASA on track, your not allowed Coolant. Only water. So a water additive like super cool is crucial. Been using that brand for YEARS in my racecars. Noticed a 40° difference in my old Civic Racecar on the back straight, WOT, at Utah Motorsports Campus. Definitely plan to run that in the Cobra as well this year when she gets out on track.

Nice ride bro. I’ve been going through my 2001 cobra. It’s came a long way since I’ve owned it when I got the car. It wasn’t in the best condition. It’s sad how some people let these cars go down. With that being saidit’s came a long way. I’m saving my money for cams at the moment.

I’m still on the OG 1.5l 14 psi with the 2.25 upper. Modified enlarged inlet And stock 6.5 crank 550wheel hp 540tq that’s why I have never wanted to go to the 2.1 if I ever change the blower I’ll swap it to the old 2.2 it’s a direct change

Get a reishe 170 thermostat and lower your fan temps my car runs 165-180 and run an 03-04 cobra factory radiator and deleted all the ac system so no condenser in the way

1 kid has a 1 of 1 IC setup for this blower for our cars. And ford made prototype PD blower Lincoln Mark 8 back In ‘93. Fords prototype had a water to air IC setup. Everyone has screamed to the death at me saying that it’s not possible for “B” heads to get an Intercooler. If Ford could do it, and some random Swedish engineer where the kid bought the 1 off Brick from, it’s obviously doable. Especially with modern CNC tech. People just don’t want to do it.

@Saren_95 for most people it’s the most logical, more bang for your buck and safer on heat. B heads perform better with those anyway. But the powerband on the Kenn bell makes it so worth it. Just have to take care of it

I'm guessing you used the lower intake from the 03/04 cobra? Did you have to change the heads?

No, it’s entirely a B head setup, this is the exact specific PD supercharger for the 96-98 cobras. Only thing I did was do the C head valve cover conversion to look better under the hood and free up space. These came non Intercooled. Lame Bell cheaped out on the entire setup. But it sure was exactly what I was looking for overall. Freaking blast to drive!

Question I see your IAC valve capped off how did you do that?

I use a MS3 Pro ECU now. Got to be honest I have no clue how it runs. Apparently I’m on speed density now but the IAC needs to be hooked up to the blower & plugged in. There’s no vaccuum at all on the ports where the caps are. I’m not a tuner and ECU guy, car just works lol
