Sorry if this seems a bit random, but talking about certain stances on pet breeds. I say this because you speaking of your cat reminds me of it. I have a large dog and since I was little have gotten very rude remarks just because of my dog Thor’s breed being a cane corse. While the people making these remarks know nothing of how nice a dog he is.

Gonna go here but thank you for saying something about getting the pets. Frankly I have had people come up to me saying,”Why did you get that dog? Don’t you know those dogs are dangerous? You should have adopted a nice pet from a shelter instead of that.” This being because of my dog’s breed and the fact he came from a breeder. So, sorry lady that you jealous that I gave a dog a home when no one wanted him and you just jealous he is nicer than the little chihuahua. Also incase giving a pet a home labels me as “not doing something good” by people that are completely against getting pets from a breeder then allow me to point to my amazing engine block kitties, they both showed up out of nowhere.

I’ve seen so many wonderful purebred dogs who were adopted or who were “the last of their litter”. No matter the dog, and where it came from, it deserves to be loved 🤍 I’m happy you know that, I hope all of your fur babies stay happy and safe!!

I once got ~cancelled~ by two of my own friends who accused me of living a “secret double life”. Their reasoning was that they found my social medias/KZbin where I chose not to use my real name / show my face (for privacy reasons duh!) but they used that to manipulate it into much worse and were apparently talking with other people about how I was a fake and they went on to literally accuse me of being a p*rn addict (not true whatsoever) among other worse things but it all damaged my reputation and stressed me to death trying to fix the mess they had made on a whim for funsies. They didn’t let me defend myself at all either before they ghosted me but not before they very cruelly made it known they hated me and treated me like trash. Long story short eventually one of them came to their senses much later and admitted they had done me dirty big time and that they were way out of line with their accusations. But the other person to this day never even has apologized or admitted their wrongdoing towards me. And these were childhood friends that absolutely knew what they were accusing me of was nonsense, not just because they had known me for years but because they were grown adults who should have had the comprehension to know what they were doing was wrong. Anyways that’s my story! I’ve never been canceled on the internet but I was irl lol. It took a lot of time to straighten out the situation and I still to this day feel paranoid over it. I haven’t trusted anyone completely ever since that happened bc I feel like I’ll be turned on at any moment :( thank you for talking about this and making a stand for yourself ❤

Haha! Peachy my Calico was $3 from the animal shelter! And honestly speaking, the $3 was just paying for the carrier to take her home in! It was free adoption day for the kitties, lucky me. I feel like there's definitely things that certain people do that deserve some sort of consequence especially p3dophilia, S@, R@cism, homophobia, etc. however, sometimes people just make problems for no reason because people are people, and the only thing (I feel) we can really do is just do our own research and make sure there is legitimate evidence for certain claims and proceed with care. (Obviously this is my own opinion so take it with a grain of salt)

I honestly have a fear of cancel culture as a content creator😅 I truly think there is such a big difference from not tolerating somebody’s actions and threatening parts of their life. There are absolutely situations where somebody is causing serious issues and it isn’t okay and others where it’s blown out of proportion, it all depends, but either way I agree with you that cancel culture is dangerous. There are ways to deal with situations with more grace and efficiency. Great video PS. Fellow homeschooler here🥹💕

My opinion about someone talking about you buying your cat is that even though there are cats out in city's and everything, even if you do buy a cat from wherever (under most circumstances) you are still giving a cat a new home and are still helping! it's your choice on what cat to get, your money. And if they care about it that much, why don't they go take a couple cats off the street instead of worrying about yours?

EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES. I'm so tired of seeing old shit being brought up on creators, NO ONE CARES. So many people act like their perfect when cancelling others and it just pisses me off. Cancel culture I felt in the past used to be something that was able to spread awareness about how this person was kinda shitty and you shouldnt support them. Now cancel culture has shaped into doxxing, threatening, harassing, and trying to eliminate someone from the internet. Obviously there are some cases where some people should no longer have a platform. But let people decide if they don't want to support a creator any longer. This is my personal take on cancel culture, people are free to disagree.

I 100% agree! Cancel culture has been morphed into something so much more sinister, and I wish it would stick to just peoples individual opinions to be formed rather than a mass change in tides. There are some horrible people on the internet, yes, but releasing their address and threatening them isn't going to do much good in the long run other than make them find another way to be a bad person or learn from their mistakes!

Some people get mad when content creators don't voice out their political opinions nowadays in any video they make which honestly doesn't sit well with me and a lot of other people I know. Mainly because we try to enjoy content here that doesn't involve any politics whatsoever. If they want something like that they should comment such things on political content creator's videos instead. It's not about "we just don't wanna talk about it", it's moreso the fact this isn't even the right place or context to talk about such things. I remember my friend talking about how he just wants to enjoy a cooking video one time but then the person in the video decides to insert politics in it... In a cooking video like seriously lmao. Anyways, I'm sorry you got targeted by such people online. You're brave for speaking up for yourself in this video and for showing a good example on how we can all deal with this in a healthier manner.

its weird to me that the one game i wanted to play since i was what 9? has a bad community...like i just downloaded star stables like i couple days ago, not to join the community no but to enjoy the game bc thats what my child self wanted but didnt know how to get, n the only time i would like join a community or something is when i want smth from the game n prolly forget about the fact it has a community after i got what i want

I always heard about cancel culture around culture so it’s new for me to hear about it in that context. I saw cancel culture behaviour a lot around cultural appropriation or words or acts defined by a culture that are not considered accepted anymore (from an extreme to another) and got cancelled (like saying the n-word for example, or First Nation arts) but never in that context. I would have personally talked about bullying or harassment for the example you gave. What would you say make your examples different from harassment and so make them part of a cancel culture ? Genuine question😅 as I said, I never heard of that social behavior in that situation so I am trying to understand it a bit better to differentiate the two of them better😊 Thanks for the yapping, it made my brain active think😄

Cancel Culture can be strung from anything. The most I have seen is inappropriate social acts, cultural appropriation and extreme cases of bullying. The idea of cancel culture doesn’t have to derive from anything extreme or specific, it’s more or less an idea of “we don’t like what they did, we’re going to mass cancel them and stop supporting”. The examples I gave were light, I have others that I chose not to use as they were sensitive topics including race and controversy that I personally don’t think belongs on my KZbin :) Just wanted to share my opinion and views on it!! I re-read over what you said, Cancel Culture’s definition is surrounded around the culture of cancelling and isn’t derived from culture itself like appropriation ^^” I can send you some reddit links if you’d like that I have to explain this all more!
