I agree Ashley. Personally for me, Spice didn’t "talk about her kid" in any negative way. She referenced her kid to make a point about ERICA's parenting. “Your son doesn’t like you,” = there’s something you’ve done that has caused him to have resentment towards you. Now should Spice have said it? No. Scrappy even told Erica the same thing about her son 2-3 episodes ago, and she didn’t pop off him the way she did Spice. And Stevie J mentioned it seasons ago, when she brought up his kids in an argument. Her whole story line from lhhny was about her bad parenting and was mentioned every season. If it wasn’t true, she wouldn’t have thrown that table, but cos she knows she’s not done right by her son, it struck a nerve and sent her spiralling.

But that doesn't warrant Erica's employing racial slurs. At that point, it was no longer about her and Spice; it became about black people, namely black women. Great take Ashley, both sides had ick on it . I’m surprised Spice brought up Erica’s son only because I remember when somebody was call out Akbar V for not having custody of her kids and spice got triggered and inserted herself talking bout “ kids are off limits”. Erica was all the way wrong and I don’t see it for her at all but I want spice to keep the same energy. If you don’t want ppl to throw Akbar V’s kids in her face why throw Erica’s son in her face. At the time I remember thinking Spice was so triggered and she inserted herself into the fight with Akbar V because she felt some kind of secondhand guilt because she left her kids back in Jamaica. Which to Ashley’s point Erica could have matched her energy and brought up her kids and it would have cut her. The fact that Erica called her a BLUE Monkey tells me she has felt that way about Spice for years she was just waiting for a reason to say it out loud.
