i had a failed kypho on t9 fracture and as a result get flare ups in uppwr and lower back Any excercises recommended for low back hip? very sore in the am. wake up hunched.

Wondering about planks and side planks now that I have also being diagnosed with mild multi legal degenerative disc disease in lumbar spine with severe facet arthropathy at L4/5 on left. Just when I learned to modify all my exercises having osteoporosis. Any thoughts?

Hi Margaret Do you think strengthen my core would help with my severe Kyphosis. I've had 12 Compression fractures over the past 3 yrs. I've been to PT & other programs but I'm still really bent over! I can stand up straight right after I get out of bed or lay on my stomach for 30 minutes but the longer I stand on my feet the more bent over I become. Also when I lift anything I start bending over. The pain gets worse as the day goes on. I thought about getting your book if you thought it would help severe Kyphosis. I have severe Osteoporosis. I had Hiatal Hernia this past April. Seems like the more I bend over, the worse my abdomen feels as well. Thanks Margaret!!

For Osteopenia and mild compression fractures I understand jumping is not good for me but what would you recommend instead.
