Excellent show, 9/10. If the mother and daughter were left out of the next season, no one would miss them, Surprising take on oil coming out of Hollywood, yeah, we go back to 1700 with out oil and everything it is in, which is almost everything. Thanks for sharing.

I too am surprised on this take from Hollywood. Maybe it's a roundabout way to raise awareness as to the situation we are all in? I don't think they are trying to glorify it because Billy Bob's character seems to also be clear on his view that we are going to run out of oil before we find a substitute. Or maybe it's like The Matrix where they didn't realize just how subversive it could be?
