As an SRK fan, I feel like we're all Kajol (as the mother) from K3G. And we see our kid doing stupid stuff and lose our shit, but then he smiles and says "this one's for you mom" and our hearts melt and we spread our arm wide and accept everything he does. I absolutely love SRK. I loved the trailer. I want the movie to be AMAZING. I just wish Anushka does justice to her role and doesn't look odd or unsatisfactory and take away the charm of the film. Fingers crossed.

I never go with Miss Chopra's reviews. How come SRK is looking like dwarf? Dwarfs have big head, small body and smaller limbs but then how come a superstar can look unusual/ugly? Then to be likable on screen, he has to act. Kamal Hassan did great with less technology in Appu Raja. But thats not in SRK's kitty. SRK's fans are dumb and so is AL Rai. How come he is convinced that an actor in a shorter frame can be shown as dwarf.

I wish you guys spoke a bit about First Man. Rahul as always wrote an excellent review for it but I still feel that the movie isn't getting the kind of praise it deserves from audiences. Everybody goes all gaga over Interstellar and Gravity - why not this movie then?

Amitabh Sharma Its by far the best movie i've seen in theatres this year. Maybe the reason it has not become such a big thing like Interstellar or Gravity is because of how intimate and melancholic the film was. It's not really a 'big' space film, but more of a deeply personal look into Armstrong's grief. Also the ridiculous flag controversy.

@@sanchitvarma1282 I think the 'deep personal' nature of the movie, like you mentioned, is precisely why everyone should see it. People probably think of movies like Apollo 13 (which is, no doubt, another great movie) when they think of astronauts - gung-ho, likeable superheroes who can do no wrong. First Man on the other hand shows astronauts as humans who are deeply affected by personal tragedies, who can be irritatingly cocky (as in Buzz Aldrin's case) and whose lives, at least in those initial years, were so deeply intertwined with death. And for god's sake, this is a true story. The events of this movie are the reason why Interstellar and Gravity and 2001: A Space Odyssey became possible. But, more importantly, do you think it will manage to win Best Picture? I haven't watched A Star is Born yet, but I still think Best Picture shouldn't go to a remake. There's also Christian Bale's Vice.

Amitabh Sharma I agree with everything you said. Of all space exploration movies, this was the one which made me truly get in into the heads of the astronauts and experience their physical and mental turmoil. But most of the people who walked in were not expecting 'this' movie. They wanted more action, herioism and triumph. But the title of the movie itself gave away it's intentions - it's about the first man - his life, his family, his emotional turmoil, his fears, his grief, not about a country's mission to the moon. As for the oscar chances, I really doubt it will contend for the Major awards - the movie is way too subtle and intimate to woo the oscar voters. But honestly, though A star is born is a really well made film, it just can't compare to the emotional impact that First Man had.

And Damien Chazelle is so damn unlucky- three top notch movies and each time, he misses out on the Best Picture. I can understand why they didn't like 2.0 trailer. It's because they fear that 2.0 ( South Indian film) will destroy all box office records once again when it releases because, that's what Bahubali 2 (South Indian film) did last year. They will never appreciate a hardcore commercial Indian film as they are huge fans of European style film makers like Zoya Akhtar, Imtiaz Ali, Vishal Bhardwaj etc who keep making craps that hardly get some footfalls.

Kohli 04 why does a love triangle has to be crap? No where did the makers claim they are making a science fiction film or something. Nor did the 2 teasers reveal something different. Anand L Rai is a master of love triangles. Watch the other movies that he has directed. All of them were love triangles but was still fresh and enjoyable for the audience.

I still don't know why people are dying to watch zero.... there's as usual plot a normal love triangle. mashup of fan and a love story keeping the characters inspired by Stephen hawking... we can easily predict entire story. at least half of movie... casual plot like jab tak he jaan just with different roles nothing else just because of the bgm song in trailer people are liking it.... #zero is good but not great...

zero's trailer was fun but 2.0's trailer was very boring, yet i expect more from 2.0 and not from zero. we can just wait for the right to prove me either right or wrong
